philippines part 1 - cebu, siquijor & bohol

nöchste stop isch die chlini insle siquijor im süde woni miter fähre erreiche. i miete grad bim hafe e roller für 3 täg um zu mim hostel z'cho und aues uf eigeni fust z'erkunde. mit paar angerne allei reisende machi paar kuuli usflüg zu wasserfäu, stränd und hügle. e ort zum empfähle.

- da änglisch e amtssproch isch, erwist sech s'reise aus sehr eifach und mi cha mit aune chli rede. mit no paar filipino wörter machts aber no gad meh spass und mi ärntet es zuesätzlechs lache.
- mit 7'641 insle ischme zimli vüu ungerwägs i büs, fähre und tricyle/jeepney. s'sogenannte island hoping (vo insle zu insle) isch ufwändig und cha asträngend si -> nid z'vüu gepäck (chaut isches nie) und immer e beschäftigung derbi ha.
- weme nöime für paar täg blibt sött me unbedingt e roller miete, dasch die besti fortbewegig und ou günstig mit durchschnittlech 8.- pro tag.

i liebes do. d'lüt si ungloublech härzlech ou wenns evt mängisch nur chli fasade isch. s'ässe generell isch guet aber nid ussergwöhnlech abgseh vo paar frücht wo super lecker si. es isch aues mega grüen und so isches e troum eifach übers land z'fahre. s'beste isch nachwievor, und das chöimer aui wo schomou in südostasie oder ou südamerika greist si bestätige, allei eifach dür d'strosse z'loufe. mit de ching z'spile, z'gseh wie chüeh, hüehner, geisse und süsch aues frei umelouft. wiesi am strosserand choche, zügs us irne chline kiosk verchoufe und am obe e ganzi nochberschaft zäme e füum ufemne munzige tv luegt. ah und stränd hets würk wiemese uf de fotis gseht;)

little travel guide:
- for 10.- u can get good accomadations like hostels and guesthouses.
- on the street or in a filipino restaurant (table and chairs are out of plastic) u can eat okay or good and won't feel hungry anymore for 2-4 dollars. even vegetarian is possible.
- English is a official language, so it's easy to travel around and talk to locals. with some words in filipino u will earn some more happy faces.
- with 7'641 islands, getting around is quite time assuming and can be exhausting. u spend a lot of time in buses, ferries and tricycle/jeepneys -> make sure u always have something to keep u busy with and don't take too much luagage (it's anyway never cold).
- when u stay somewhere for a few days, def rent a scooter. it's the best way to get around and it's cheap with ~8.- a day.

impression so far:
I love it here. the people are unbelievable friendly even if it's maybe sometimes a bit fake. the food is good but not exceptional apart from some fruits which are super yummy. everything is hyper green and a pure dream to drive through the countryside. the best thing is still, and anyone who ever traveled in South East Asia or South America will agree, to walk the little roads. playing with the kids, watching all the things going on and just soak in the local's life. yes and the beaches are like u know them from postcards;)
