Route: 99 Kilometer, kumuliert: 1'443 Kilometer | Höhenmeter: 530, kumulierte Höhenmeter: 6'069 Meter, Entfernung von zu Hause: 426 Kilometer (Luftlinie)

Das eigentliche Ziel der heutigen Tour hatte ich nach 52 Kilometern schon erreicht. Da ich jedoch nicht gebucht hatte und im Gasthof auch niemand anwesend war, stieg ich wieder auf den Sattel und fuhr weiter die Donau hinauf. Passau lag nur gute 40 Kilometer weiter. Also weder für mich noch für den Akku ein Problem.

In Wesenufer gefiel mir dann doch noch ein Gasthof und ich fragte nach. Die Wirtin sagte mir aber, dass sie diese Wirtschaft nur vorübergehend betreibe und daher auch keine Zimmer vermiete. So machte ich also nur eine kleine Pause, trank und ass etwas und schon war ich wieder unterwegs.

Der Weg war heute landschaftlich sehr schön, in erster Linie aber sehr naturnah. Nur die Donau, der Radweg und Wald. Der Schiffsverkehr war meiner Ansicht nach sehr schwach. Auf der gesamten Strecke bin ich weniger als 10 Schiffen begegnet.

Das Wetter war zum Radfahren ideal. Es war zwar bewölkt, doch erst kurz vor Passau habe ich ein paar Regentropfen gespürt. Auch der Wind war ok und genauso die Temperatur.

Alles in allem war es eine schöne und lohnenswerte Fahrt ohne besondere Vorkommnisse.

Erst kurz vor Passau habe ich mich dann um eine Unterkunft gekümmert. Über Booking.com habe ich ein günstiges Apartment gefunden. Die paar Kilometer dorthin waren kein Problem, doch schon lange bin ich nicht mehr so weit und steil hochgefahren. Ein gutes Training für den Feldberg, der noch vor mir liegt.

Während ich diesen Blogeintrag schreibe, zieht ein starkes Gewitter über uns hinweg. Offensichtlich habe ich die Routeneinteilung und das Timing richtig gemacht. 🙏😊

I had already reached the actual destination of today's tour after 52 kilometres. However, since I hadn't booked and there was no one present at the inn, I got back in the saddle and continued up the Danube. Passau was only a good 40 kilometres further. So, it was no problem for either me or the battery.

In Wesenufer, I found another inn I liked and inquired there. But the landlady told me she was only running the tavern temporarily and therefore didn't rent out rooms. So I just took a short break, had something to eat and drink, and was back on the road again.

The route today was very beautiful in terms of scenery, but primarily very close to nature. Just the Danube, the cycle path, and the forest. In my opinion, the river traffic was very light. I encountered fewer than 10 ships along the entire route.

The weather was ideal for cycling. It was cloudy, but I only felt a few drops of rain shortly before Passau. The wind was fine, as was the temperature.

All in all, it was a beautiful and worthwhile ride without any special incidents.

I only looked for accommodation shortly before reaching Passau. I found a cheap apartment via Booking.com. The few kilometres to get there were no problem, but it’s been a long time since I’ve ridden such a long and steep climb. Good training for the Feldberg, which is still ahead of me.

As I write this blog post, a heavy thunderstorm is passing over us. Obviously, I got the route planning and timing just right. 🙏😊

Ya había alcanzado el destino real de la etapa de hoy tras 52 kilómetros. Sin embargo, como no había reservado y no había nadie en la posada, volví a subir al sillín y continué subiendo por el Danubio. Passau estaba a solo unos 40 kilómetros más allá. Así que no fue un problema ni para mí ni para la batería.

En Wesenufer me gustó otra posada y pregunté. Pero la dueña me dijo que solo gestionaba la taberna de forma temporal y que, por lo tanto, no alquilaba habitaciones. Así que solo hice un pequeño descanso, comí y bebí algo y enseguida me puse en marcha de nuevo.

El camino hoy fue muy bonito paisajísticamente, pero sobre todo muy natural. Solo el Danubio, el carril bici y el bosque. En mi opinión, el tráfico fluvial era muy escaso. En todo el trayecto me crucé con menos de 10 barcos.

El tiempo era ideal para ir en bicicleta. Estaba nublado, pero solo sentí unas gotas de lluvia poco antes de Passau. El viento también estuvo bien, al igual que la temperatura.

En general, fue un viaje agradable y que valió la pena, sin incidentes especiales.

No busqué alojamiento hasta poco antes de llegar a Passau. Encontré un apartamento económico a través de Booking.com. Los pocos kilómetros hasta allí no fueron un problema, pero hacía mucho tiempo que no subía una cuesta tan larga y empinada. Un buen entrenamiento para el Feldberg, que todavía tengo por delante.

Mientras escribo esta entrada en el blog, una fuerte tormenta pasa sobre nosotros. Evidentemente, acerté con la planificación de la ruta y el horario. 🙏😊
