And not that I get bored I went to Atlanta the weekend after that, with my amazing hostfamily. We visited the Botanical Garden, a baseball game and I went to Six Flags over Georgia. And since my host mom flys that much we all got lounge access. I love it. Und damit mir nicht langweilig wird, bin ich das Wochenende danach nach Atlanta geflogen, mit meiner wundervollen Gastfamilie. Wir haben den Botanischen Garten und ein Baseball Spiel gesehen und ich war im Six Flags over Georgia. Und da meine Gastmutter so viel fliegt, konnten wir alle in die Lounge. Ich liebe das.
The Thursday after that Molly, Kevin and Gerry went to the Outerbanks in North Carolina and I had some time for myself. I visited Washington DC again, where I saw the Libary of Congress, the Surpreme Court, the Capitol (again), the Department of Treasury, the Vietnam War memorial and Franklin Delano Rosevelt memorial. I made Schnitzel with fried potatoes and enjoyed having the house on my own and being able to sleep in without a baby crying. I really liked to have that time for myself. it's not that I don't like living with my host family, but I was just used to do my own stuff and I enjoyed cooking for myself again, going gocery shopping for myself and all these silly routines. Den Donnerstag danach sind Molly, Kevin und Gerry in die Outerbanks in North Carolina gefahren und ich hatte etwas Zeit für mich. Ich habe Washington DC nocheinmal besucht, wo ich die Kongressbibliothek, den obersten Gerichtshof, das Kapitol (nocheinmal), das Finanyminesterium, das Vietnamkrieg Denkmal und das Franklin Delano Rosevelt Denkmal besucht habe. Ich habe Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln gemacht und es genossen das Haus für mich zu haben und ausschlafen zu können, ohne dass ein Baby schreit. Ich hab es wirklich genossen Zeit für mich zu haben, nicht dass ich meine Gastfamilie nicht mag aber ich war so gewohnt daran meinen eigenen Kram zu machen und ich hab es genossen für mich selbst zu kochen und einzukaufen und diese ganzen simplen Routinen.The weekend after that I went on a roadtrip with my canadian friend Kari. We started on Thursday and went to Pittsburgh, spend the day there and drove to Cleveland in the evening where we watched the sunset at Lake Erie and stayed in a nice Airbnb. On Friday we went to Cedar Point, an amusementpark up at Lake Erie in Sandusky. It is my absolut favorite amusement park. First of all they have the best coaster I've seen so far and I've seen a lot. Steel Vengeance is a hybrid coaster. It's awesome. I recommend that every roller coaster fan goes to Cedar Point. It's like no other place. Also a lot of the coasters there were pretty new, which is nice because they are smoother and have the newest security standarts. On Saturday we stopped for a quick visit in Cleveland before we headed home to watch the Washington Capitals game on the streets in front of the arena, which was impressive. I really liked traveling with her. She's the only one I've met so far that need less time than I do to get ready in the morning or evening. And she just likes to travel the same way I do. Looove it.Das Wochenende danach bin ich auf einen Roadtrip mit meiner kanadischen Freundin Kari gegangen. Wir sind am Donnerstag nach Pittsburgh gefahren, wo wir den Tag verbracht haben und sind abends nach Cleveland gefahren, wo wir den Sonnenuntergang am Lake Erie angesehen haben und in einem netten Airbnb übernachten haben. Am Freitag sind wir zum Cedar Point Freizeitpark am Lake Erie in Sandusky gefahren. Es ist mein absoluter Lieblings-Freizeitpark. Zunächst mal haben die die beste Achterbahn die ich bisher gesehen habe und ich habe echt viele gesehen. Steel Vengeance ist eine Hybrid Achterbahn. Es ist der Wahnsinn. Ich empfehle jedem Achterbahnfan mal nach Cedar Point zu reisen, es ist einfach nicht vergleichbar mit anderen Orten. Außerdem sind viele Achterbahnen ziemlich neu, was bedeutet, dass sie wenig ruckeln und ruhig laufen. Außerdem haben sie die neusten Sicherheitsstandarts. Am Samstag haben wir kurz in Cleveland angehalten bevor wir nach Hause gefahren sind um ein Washington Captials Spiel (Eishockey) auf der Straße vor dem Station anzuschauen, was echt beeindruckend war. Ich habe es wirklich genossen mit Kari zu reisen. Sie ist die einzige, die ich bisher getroffen habe, die weniger Zeit zum fertig machen braucht als ich (sowohl morgens als auch abends). Und sie reist einfach auf die gleiche Art wie ich. Ich lieebe es.
