Visit Harper's Ferry and Start of Florida Vacation

The next week was just normal and on the weekend I went to Harper's Ferry in West Virginia with a friend. We actually didn't spend much time in the acutal town, but went hiking in Maryland, because Harper's Ferry is right at the border to Virginia and Maryland. The week after that Molly stayed home and we hung out together with Gerry. During the first week I had a couple of my depressed hours. I really don't know what that is about, but it always gives me this strong feeling about wanting to go back to Germany immediately. 
Die nächste Woche war ganz normal und am Wochenende bin ich mit einer Freundin nach Harpers Ferry in West Virginia gefahren. Wir haben nicht mal wirklich viel Zeit in dem eigentlichen Dorf verbracht, sondern sind in Maryland gewandert, denn Harper's Ferry liegt genau an der Grenze zu Virginia und Maryland. Die Woche danach ist Molly zuhause geblieben und wir haben zusammen mit Gerry Zeit verbracht. Während der ersten Woche hatte ich ein paar von meinen depressiven Stunden. Ich hab wirklich keine Ahnung was es damit auf sich hat, aber es gibt mir immer dieses starke Gefühl, dass ich auf der Stelle zurück nach Deutschland will. 

The following Saturday my journey to Florida started. Flight to Fort Lauderdale, where we took a lyft to Miami Beach and spend the rest of the day at the beach. In the evening we went out for dinner and walked around. The next day we went to Miami itself and visited the Wynwood Walls, Little Havana, the Habor and walked around the city. Monday morning we left as eary as possibe to drive to Orlando passing West Palm Beach on the way. We arrived in Orlando late afternoon and spend an hour at Aquatica, the waterpark. The next day we had a day in Discovery Cove to swim with Dolphins, go snorkeling  and enjoy. We went into Sea World for another hour after that. The next day, Wednesday, we went to Universal to visit Island of Adventure. Mainly because of the Harry Potter world in it. We stayed there way to long considering that we had a 3 hour drive to Fort Myers after that. We got to Fort Myers at around 3.30 am. 
Am darauffolgenden Samstag ging meine Reise nach Florida los. Flug nach Fort Lauderdale, wo wir einen lyft nach Miami Beach genommen haben und den restlichen Tag am Strand verbracht haben. Abends sind wir in ein Restaurant gegangen und sind danach durch Miami BEach gelaufen. Am Tag danach sind wir nach Miami selbst und haben die Wynwood Walls, Little Havana und den Hafen besucht und sind durch die Stadt gelaufen. Am Montag morgen sind wir so früh wie möglich los um über West Palm Beach nach Orlando zu fahren. Wir kamen am späten Nachmittag in Orlando an und haben eine Stunde im Aquatica, einem Wasserpark verbracht. Am nächsten Tag sind wir im Discovery  Cove gewesen, um mit Delfinen zu schwimmen, zu schnorcheln und zu genießen. Wir sind danach noch für eine Stunde ins Sea World gegangen. Am nächsten Tag, Mittwoch, sind wir zu Universal gefahren um Island of Adventure zu besuchen, insbesondere wegen der Harry Potter Welt darin. Wir sind dort viel zu lange geblieben, wenn man bedenkt, dass wir den Abend noch 3 Stunden nach Fort Myers gefahren mussten. Wir kamen um halb 4 nachts in Fort Myers an. 

Little conclusion after these five days. Miami Beach was really nice, but it was not as beautiful as th beaches on Fueteventura, so kind of disappointing for me. Miami itself was kind of as expected. The Aquatica waterpark was awesome, Discovery Cove was a nice little world created in the middle of Orlando but the dolphin swim was disappointing, becuase the actual swim was really short, just a couple seconds. Still it was an overall great experience. The snorkeling was really nice there. Over all it was to littel time to see Discovery Cove, Aquatica and Sea World. The day at Universal was nice, but I expected more cool roller coasters. The Harry Potter World was nice but it made me realize that its absolutly not ture, which of course I knew but its diffrent. 
This might sound like I didn't enjoy it. but I did. Best experience of my life I would guess. 
Kleines Fazit nach diesen fünf Tagen. Miami Beach war wirklich nett, aber es war nicht so schön wie die Stände auf Fueteventura, also ein bisschen enttäuschend für mich. Miami selbst war etwa wo wie ich es erwartet hatte. Der Aquatica Wasserpark war wahnsinnig cool, Discovery Cove war cool, diese Welt die mitten in Orlando erstellt wurde, aber das Delfinschwimmen war enttäuschend weil das wirkliche schwimmen so extrem kurz war, nur ein paar Sekunden. Trotzdem war es insgesamt eine sehr tolle Erfahrung. Das Schnorcheln war wirklich cool dort. 
Insgesamt war es zu wenig Zeit, um Discovery Cove, Aquatica und Sea World zu sehen. Der Tag in Universal war nett, aber ich hatte mehr coole Achterbahnen erwartet. Die Harry Potter Welt war cool, aber es hat mich dazu gebracht zu realisieren, dass es wirklich nicht wahr ist, was ich natürlich wusste, aber trotzdem. 
Das alles mag so klingen, als ob ich es nicht genossen hätte, aber ich habe das. Es war eine wahnsinnige Lebenserfahrung, vermutlich die beste in meinem Leben.
