05 nach Budapest

Strecke: 86 Kilometer, kumuliert: 396 Kilometer | Höhenmeter: 350, kumulierte Höhenmeter 1'299 Meter, Entfernung von Zuhause: 833 Kilometer (Luftlinie).

Das Hotel von letzter Nacht war so, wie versprochen. Alles war sehr gut, inklusive dem enthaltenen Abendessen. Nur die Getränke musste ich bezahlen.

Noch muss ich nicht künstlich ernährt werden. 🤣 Am Tag vor meiner Abreise musste ich noch zum Zahnarzt, da ein Stück eines rechten Backenzahnes abgebrochen ist. Die Zahnärztin hat dann gemeint, dass der 🦷 gezogen werden muss. Doch das wollte ich nicht, da mir das Risiko zu hoch erschien, dass sich etwas entzündet und ich Schmerzen habe. Daher hat sie mir dann Medikamente mitgegeben, falls doch etwas passiert.

Und heute war es dann soweit, dass mir tatsächlich ein grosses Stück Zahn abgebrochen ist. Es ist zwar nicht sehr störend und Schmerzen habe ich auch keine. Also warte ich mal ab, wie es weitergeht, bevor ich irgendwelche Pillen schlucke.

Nach der Abfahrt war ich schon sehr schnell an der Donau, der ich dann bis Budapest folgen konnte. Auch am 5. Reisetag war das Wetter sonnig und warm. Der Wind war aber auch vorhanden, wie schon die letzten Tage. Da ich aber oft die Richtung änderte, kam der Wind nicht immer von vorne. Zudem fuhr ich oft zwischen Bäumen, die den Wind auch bremsten.

Abermals habe ich die Grenze nach Ungarn überquert. Doch in diesem Land werde ich jetzt einige Tage bleiben, bevor ich abermals in die Slowakei einreise. Das wird dann auf dem Weg in Richtung Feldberg sein.

Unterwegs habe ich 2 Anrufe von Landjäger erhalten, da gewisse Bestätigungen auf mein Handy kommen. Beide Male war es eine angenehme Pause. Apropos Pause: Heute habe ich in der Mittagspause keinen Blog geschrieben, ich habe mich aufs Essen konzentriert, eine würzige Hirschwurst, die ich von Hildegard bekommen habe.

Die Einfahrt nach Budapest war ähnlich der von Warschau. Es ging kreuz und quer, und der Radweg war nicht immer leicht zu finden. Irgendwann kam ich dann auf eine Brücke, die mich auf die Insel mitten in der Donau führte. Ein riesiges Erholungsgebiet zwischen Buda und Pest.

Mein Airbnb von heute liegt sehr zentral und ist ebenfalls sehr komfortabel. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist da, die schon am Arbeiten ist. Auch sonst ist die Wohnung sehr schön und sauber. Ich kann und will gar nicht alles nutzen, was vorhanden ist.

Nun gehe ich kurz in der Nähe einkaufen. Was später kommt, weiss ich noch nicht.

The hotel from last night was as promised. Everything was very good, including the included dinner. I only had to pay for the drinks.

I still don’t need to be artificially fed. 🤣 The day before my departure, I had to go to the dentist because a piece of a right molar had broken off. The dentist then said that it needs to be extracted. However, I didn’t want that, as I felt the risk of infection and subsequent pain was too high. Therefore, she gave me medication in case something happens.

And today, it finally happened that a big piece of tooth actually broke off. It’s not very bothersome, and I have no pain either. So I’m waiting to see how it goes before I take any pills.

After setting off, I quickly reached the Danube, which I could follow all the way to Budapest. Even on the 5th travel day, the weather was sunny and warm. The wind was also present, just like in the past few days. However, since I often changed direction, the wind didn’t always come from the front. I also often rode between trees that slowed the wind down.

Once again, I crossed the border into Hungary. But I will stay in this country for a few days before re-entering Slovakia. This will be on the way towards Feldberg.

On the way, I received 2 calls from the authorities, as certain confirmations were coming through to my phone. Both times, it was a pleasant break. Speaking of breaks: Today I didn’t write a blog during lunch; I focused on eating a spicy venison sausage that I got from Hildegard.

Entering Budapest was similar to entering Warsaw. It was all over the place, and the cycling path wasn’t always easy to find. At some point, I came to a bridge that led me to the island in the middle of the Danube. A huge recreational area between Buda and Pest.

My Airbnb today is very central and also very comfortable. There’s even a washing machine here that is already working. Other than that, the apartment is very nice and clean. I can’t and don’t want to use everything that’s available.

Now I’m going to do some shopping nearby. What comes later, I don’t know yet.

El hotel de anoche fue como se prometió. Todo estuvo muy bien, incluida la cena incluida. Solo tuve que pagar las bebidas.

Todavía no necesito estar alimentado artificialmente. 🤣 El día antes de mi partida, tuve que ir al dentista porque se rompió un trozo de un molar derecho. La dentista dijo que debe ser extraído. Sin embargo, no quise eso, ya que consideré que el riesgo de infección y el dolor posterior era demasiado alto. Por lo tanto, me dio medicamentos en caso de que suceda algo.

Y hoy, finalmente sucedió que se rompió un gran trozo de diente. No es muy molesto y tampoco tengo dolor. Así que estoy esperando a ver cómo avanza antes de tomar cualquier pastilla.

Después de salir, rápidamente llegué al Danubio, que pude seguir todo el camino hasta Budapest. Incluso en el quinto día de viaje, el clima fue soleado y cálido. El viento también estaba presente, al igual que en los últimos días. Sin embargo, como cambiaba de dirección a menudo, el viento no siempre venía de frente. También a menudo pedaleaba entre árboles que frenaban el viento.

Una vez más, crucé la frontera hacia Hungría. Pero me quedaré en este país unos días antes de volver a entrar a Eslovaquia. Esto será en el camino hacia Feldberg.

En el camino, recibí 2 llamadas de las autoridades, ya que ciertas confirmaciones llegaban a mi teléfono. Ambas veces fue un descanso agradable. Hablando de descansos: Hoy no escribí un blog durante el almuerzo; me concentré en comer una salchicha de ciervo picante que recibí de Hildegard.

La entrada a Budapest fue similar a la de Varsovia. Fue todo un laberinto y el carril bici no siempre era fácil de encontrar. En algún momento, llegué a un puente que me llevó a la isla en medio del Danubio. Una enorme área recreativa entre Buda y Pest.

Mi Airbnb de hoy está muy céntrico y también es muy cómodo. Hay incluso una lavadora aquí que ya está funcionando. Aparte de eso, el apartamento es muy bonito y limpio. No puedo y no quiero utilizar todo lo que está disponible.

Ahora voy a hacer algunas compras cerca. Lo que venga después, aún no lo sé.
