Semuc Champey

Semuc Champey is admist the rainforest and quite central in Guatemala. It is probably one of the most beautiful places of the country and mainly consists of terraced water pools fed by river Cahabon. It is also home to a set of stalactites caves and the tour through those was a lot of fun. 

I was also very lucky with my hostel which was located nearby so that SC was just a 30 minute walk away instead of having to take a pick up-shuttle from Lanquin and I made friends with two other Germans... you know who you are 😉 Great times!
