Schießzeit!/ Shooting time!

Hey Friends! 😎

Am letzten Dienstag hatten wir unseren Bewertungstag. Jetzt haben wir nur noch einen Bewertungstag vor uns. Die letzte Schulwoche hat auch schon angefangen. Danach werden wir Wahlfächer haben. Bald fängt die Vorbereitung auf die Sommercamps an. Da bekommen wir ein spezielles Training. Ich werde die nächste Zeit viel im Bereich Medien verbringen, um mich auf meine Aufgaben im Sommer vorzubereiten. 📸

Am Donnerstag hatten wir Arbeitsprojekte. Alle Studenten haben geholfen die Scheune, wo die ganzen Kleintiere drin sind zu reinigen und für das Mutter-Tochter-Tagescamp, welches wir am Samstag hatten, schön herzurichten. Unter anderem wurde alles entstaubt, Einlegematten mit dem Hochdruckreiniger gereinigt, gefegt, gewischt und es wurde ein Kratzbaum aufgebaut für die neuen Baby-Katzen, die letzte Woche geboren sind! 😍

Es wurde auch eine kleine Katze gefunden, die wir aufgenommen haben (s. Bilder)

Außerdem ist schon eines der vier Fohlen geboren!🐴 Am Samstag Abend ging die Nachricht auf der Ranch rum und dann sind alle zur Weide gerannt, um das Neugeborene zu sehen! Es war noch ganz wackelig auf den Beinen. Das erste Mal, dass ich ein Fohlen so früh nach der Geburt gesehen habe. Das Fohlen war ungefähr 40 Minuten auf der Welt, als wir an der Weide ankamen. 😃

Jetzt will euch noch was anderes sagen: Ich hatte die letzten Wochen Gespräche mit meinem Direktor über meine weiteren Pläne nach diesem Jahr. Und tatsächlich: Ich werde noch ein weiteres Jahr auf der Miracle Mountain Ranch bleiben! 🎉 Ich kann es gar nicht glauben.. Es muss sich nur noch die Sache mit meinem Visa und anderen Formularen klären und dann ist alles sicher! Das heißt ebenfalls, dass ich dann erst August 2022 wiederkomme. 😅

Heute werde ich Pistolen und Gewehre schießen! Das hätte ich mir nicht ausdenken können das irgendwann mal auszuprobieren! Ich bin gespannt drauf und werde auf jeden Fall Bilder davon zu diesem Blogpost hinzufügen. Also, wiederkommen. ;)

Update: Ich habe einige Bilder vom Schießen hochgeladen! Es war mega! Diese Erfahrung muss jeder mal machen. Ich habe zwei Gewehre und drei Pistolen ausprobiert. Das wichtigste was ich heute gelernt habe: Sicher alles ab und fokussiere dein Ziel! 🎯

Hey Friends! 😎 

Last Tuesday we had our grading day. Now we only have one more grading day to go. The last week of school has already started too. After that, we will have electives. Soon the preparation for the summer camps will start. There we will get special training. I'll be spending a lot of time in media the next while to prepare for my summer duties. 📸 

On Thursday we had work projects. All the students helped clean the barn where all the small animals are in and make it nice for the mother-daughter day camp we had on Saturday. Among other things, everything was dusted off, insert mats were cleaned with the pressure washer, swept, mopped, and a scratching tree was set up for the new baby cats that were born last week! 😍 

There was also a little cat found, which we took in (see pictures). 

Also, one of the four foals is already born!🐴 On Saturday evening the news went around the ranch and then everyone ran to the pasture to see the newborn! It was still very wobbly on its legs. First time I've ever seen a foal that early after birth. The foal was about 40 minutes into the world when we arrived at the pasture. 😃

Now I want to tell you something else: I had talks with my director the last weeks about my further plans after this year. And sure enough, I will be staying at Miracle Mountain Ranch for another year! 🎉 I can't believe it!!! Only the thing with my visa and other forms has to be cleared up and then everything is safe! That also means I won't be back until August 2022 then. 😅 

Today I will be shooting pistols and guns! I couldn't have dreamed this up to try at some point! I'm excited about it and will definitely add pictures of it to this blog post. So, come again ;)

Update: I have uploaded some pictures from the shooting! It was amazing! This is an experience that everyone needs to have. I tried two guns and three pistols. The most important thing I learned today: Back everything up and focus your target! 🎯
