Hanna and me have had a huge journey, from Tatacoa, the middle of Colombia about 1000km air line distance to the Caribbean coast, the city of Riohacha. It took us two full days, from morning to very late evening so there is not too much to tell. Riohacha is a nice beach town, less touristy then many other cities at the Caribbean but still plenty of people here. The majority is Colombian, this right now is their prime time to travel since the kids have holidays until late January so there are many families around. Also some bus tickets doubled their prices.
Anyway, the beach here is really nice.
As I have my hammock usually with me, I asked the lifeguards if I could put it under their house (picture above) but it's all emergency zone. As I told them, I'm in an emergency to put up the hammock they just laughed. Don't think they understood the importance of the situation?!
But there are palm trees closer to the street so I got to use it 👍
Also nice sundown here.
Hanna and me are both a bit fed up with the amount of meat, plátano and chicken so we got our own veggies, made some rice and ate it together with avocados. Nothing big but it was great for us.
There are no other big news, we might start tomorrow an amazing journey, probably cut off from WiFi for 4 days but then there are some awesome stories to tell!
So far, love and peace,
Laurin
