Back to Jujuy

Veröffentlicht: 27.11.2019

It's been a while since the last blog entry and the first people were asking me if I was still alive, so I give you an update even tho it didn't happen so much.

I decided to return to Argentina actually, there is a girl I really liked the last time I was there and decided to spend a week there instead of Uruguay. Transportation is super cheap (yes including planes) so it didn't even hurt my wallet.

The last day in Ciudad de la Costa was like the other two before - on the beach. It was hotter then before and you could absolutely not walk on the hot sand without flip-flops. I drank my beer and the mate and left after 90 minutes to relax in the hammock.

My Couchsurfing host in Montevideo where I stayed a night was super friendly and even picked me up with his car from the other host! Never have had such a service!

We spent the evening on the "rambla" (the promenade) and had some drinks - the night mode of this smartphone rocks!
It has been really nice!
I then got by ferry again to Buenos Aires, had there a few hours to get to the airport, flew to Jujuy and by a shared taxi into the town.

So yeah, Jujuy. What am I doing here? Mostly enjoying myself, cooking a lot, kinda having a normal life without traveling which is very refreshing.
This quiche turned out pretty well!
Empanadas del gringo!
Oh yeah and I colored my hair and got a septum, really happy with the new look!

Yeah well that's it so far. On 29th I'll go back to Buenos Aires, stay a night, on 30th to Montevideo, stay a night and on the 1st December to Bogota (Colombia) where I'll stay for a week.
I'll probably post the next entry as usually in the airport, so in 3 days.

The fact that it's almost December and Christmas is in less then a month feels surreal. There is no Christmas feeling at all when I go out in shorts and a t-shirt while the small shops all close due to siesta.
