10.11.19 - Margaret River and moving day

After a quick breakfast we got into the cars and went south. First stop was Margaret River itself. Beautiful small city with a lot of cute tiny shops. Bought a nice ‚Western Australia‘ cup, since one was missing in our kit. Also bought a book in a secondhand shop.

The shop owners told us a few more recommendations where to go along the coast. Our plan is to spend the next three days around Denmark / Albany, after that off to Bremer Bay, Esperance ... Adelaide.

About 3.000km are ahead of us. We’re looking forward to be in Adelaide in 2 weeks.

Did a quick stop at cape Leeuwin, the most south-western point of Australia where the Indian Ocean and the Southern Ocean meet. Weather conditions weren’t perfect for a good picture but still a symbolic place to be ...

Arrived at Coalmine Beach Holiday Park at late afternoon. Set up the camp, looked for the kangaroos walking nearby and prepared dinner. Spaghetti carbonara it is!

Went to bed early.
