Malte Hanau: „Off to Grampians Nationalpark“

After we had eaten toast and cornflakes for breakfast, we head off to GRAMPIANS NATIONAL PARK by bus. There, we explored the beautiful landscape of one of the most famous nationalparks in Australia. We saw waterfalls, cliff sceneries and canyons. Luckily, we didn’t face a snake! Parts of the Grampians nationalpark is on a mountain, so we climbed it. It was a little bit exhausting because it was difficult not to slip on the wet rocks. At the PINNACLE we were rewarded for the walk - the view from the top was breathtaking! Then we took some photos to have a memory of this moment. After that we tried to find the way to Halls Gap where we planned to spend our lunch time but we got lost 😅 Therefore, we had to go back to where we had come from. 

As we finally arrived at the starting point our bus driver picked us up and brought us back to Halls Gap. There most of us ate pizza in a restaurant called Black Panther. After lunch we drove to the MACKENZIE FALLS - the „main waterfall“ was about 15 meters high. 

Then we drove to THE BALCONIES and enjoyed the unspoiled nature for another time. Back in the hostel we relaxed and played Werwolf together.

Nachdem wir zum Frühstück Toast und Cornflakes gegessen hatten, fuhren wir mit dem Bus zum Grampians Nationalpark. Auf diesem Ausflug erkundeten wir die schöne Landschaft einer der bekanntesten Nationalparks Australiens. Wir sahen Wasserfälle, Felsenlandschaften und Schluchten. Zum Glück begegneten wir keiner Schlange! Der Grampians Nationalpark liegt teilweise auf einem Berg, also bestiegen wir ihn. Es war ein wenig anstrengend, da es schwierig war, nicht auf den nassen Felsen auszurutschen. Auf dem Gipfel wurden wir jedoch mit einer wunderbaren Aussicht auf den Nationalpark belohnt. Dann schossen wir ein paar Erinnerungsfotos. Danach versuchten wir den Weg nach Halls Gap zu finden, wo wir unsere Mittagspause verbringen wollten, aber wir verirrten uns 😅 Daher mussten wir den ganzen Weg bis zu unserem Ausgangspunkt zurücklaufen. Als wir ankamen, holte uns unser Busfahrer ab und brachte uns zu Halls Gap zurück. Dort aßen die meisten von uns Pizza in einem Restaurant namens Black Panther. Daraufhin fuhren wir gestärkt zu den MacKenzie Falls und bewunderten den fast fünfzehn Meter hohen Wasserfall. Wir fuhren danach zu den “Balconies“ und genossen erneut die unberührte Natur. 

Zurück im Hotel entspannten wir uns und spielten gemeinsam Werwolf.
