This is specialy for my english course. Since I miss my english lesson this semester while I am in Australia, I do my homework and write one day from my blog in english. Understanding English in Australia is very difficult as most people have a strong slang.
We will be picked up at 7:30 from our accommodation this morning by a Billy Tea Bush Safaris for our Cape Tribulation and Daintree 4 WD Tour.
We join our guide and travel north along the scenic route via Mossman to Cape Tribulation. We were 16 different people from all over the world.
Lush farmland contrasts with seascape as we approach the lovely Daintree Riverland. We had Time for a short morning tea break, later we all aboard for an informative river cruise. We relaxed and enjoyed the splendour only the Daintree can offer during we learned of Estuarine Crocodiles, mangrove forests and wildlife. This is nature at its best! And real, we saw one wild Crocodile with 2 m and one with 4 m.
Afterwards we ascended the Alexandra Range and paused for a panoramic view of World Heritage Tropical Rainforest. The azure colour of the Coral Sea was very beautifull.
We experienced the rainforest intimately on the elevated National Park Boardwalk. Accurate interpretations of flora and fauna was given with enought time for photos. We learned something about totally unique Cassowary and other wildlife species within this habitat.
A delicious barbecue lunch with freshly salads was served, with a cool drink. After the lunch we feeded the sweet Wallabies.
Our tour took us beyound Cape Tribulation along 7 kms of the 4 WD Bloomfield Track too Emmagen Creek. This was the time to refreshing. Several people have a swam in the River. We got a taste testing of sesonal tropical fruit, and a cup of traditional Daintree Billy Tea. Besides Mango, I never heard about the fruits. But all tasted very well.
At Cape Tribulation, there was a little time to go on the beach and boardwalk to the photo plattform overlooking the mountain and coast. We saw where the Rainforest meets the Sea. The view was marvelous.
After a short afternoon refreshment stop, we crossed the Daintree River by cable ferry and began our homeward journey back to our hotel.
The weather was fine the whole day, aprox 25 to 30 degrees, and in the Rainforest very clammy. So an eventful day came to an end.
