Nach problemlosen Grenzübertritt – die Argentinier hatten keine Lust, unseren Camper zu kontrollieren, nur die üblichen Stempel für Pässe und Auto-Permit – sind wir bald in der „Argentinischen Schweiz“. Die Sicht auf Seen und Berge bestätigt schon diese Bezeichnung,

Auch die älplerische touristische Hektik in Villa La Angostura ist ziemlich echt und so lassen wir San Carlos di Bariloche rechts liegen und fahren gleich an den Lago Guiterrez im NP Nahuel Huapi.

An nächsten Tag „stürmen“ wir auf den Mirador Guiterrez, von dem wir wirklich schönen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Seen und Berge haben.

Weiter geht’s nach Süden durch den PN Los Alerces – schöne Landschaften und Seen - und teilweise üble Schotterpiste.

Ziel ist Esquel – der Ort selbst bietet uns ausser nicht existentem Internet Cafe und Geldautomaten, die kein Geld ausspucken wollen, doch ein Highlight „La Trochita“ – der alte Patagonien Express.

Er fährt nur mehr für den Tourismus eine Strecke von ca 20 km nach „argentinischem“ Fahrplan, so haben wir Glück, ihn bei einem Bahnübergang zu treffen.

Easy crossing the border – the Argentinian folks were not in the mood to check our camper – just the usal stamps into passports and car permit. Soon after we are in “Swiss Argentina” -the view of mountains and lakes proofs the nickname. Also touristic hectic in Villa La Angostura is original and so we bypass San Carlos di Bariloche and drive directly to Lago Guiterrez in NP Nahuel Huapi.

Next day we “conquer” Mirador Guiterrez. From there we really have nice views of mountains and lakes.

Further to the South through PN Los Alerces – again nice views of landscape – and partly tough gravel road.

Finally we reach Esquel – the village itself can deliver only non existing Internet Café and ATM’s not willing to provide money – BUT one highlight, “La Trochita” – the old Patagonia Express. Today it’s running for tourism a 20 km track only, following schedules Argentina style, so we were quite lucky to meet by chance at a crossroad.
