Man geht die Zeit schnell rum.. 😅

Schon wieder eine Woche vorbei! 

Ich merke, wie wir Studenten mit jedem neuen Tag enger zusammen wachsen. Wir sind insgesamt 15 Studenten dieses Jahr. Wer jetzt gezählt hat weiß, dass drei Studenten auf dem Bild fehlen. 😂 Es sind die Studenten, die ein zweites Jahr drangehängt haben. Da sie manchmal einen anderen Stundenplan haben als wir, sind wir nicht immer zusammen unterwegs. Es ist wirklich eine entspannte Atmosphäre unter uns. :D

Wir haben dieses Wochenende ein „Horselover retreat“, also ein Camp für Pferdeliebhaber gehabt. Da haben wir in den Bereichen Küche und Stall mitgearbeitet, um den Gästen einen schönen Aufenthalt zu gewährleisten. 😉 

Ich finde es gut, dass ich in verschiedene Arbeitsbereiche reingucken kann. So kann ich mein Wissen in verschiedenen Bereichen erweitern. Auch, wie man Wäsche auf „amerikanische Weise“ wäscht. 😜 Wusstest ihr, dass man die Klamotten nicht trennt, sondern einfach alles in die Waschmaschine, die übrigens oben geöffnet wird, reinschmeißt? Und dann das Waschmittel auf die Klamotten schüttet? Ich bis vor kurzem auch noch nicht 😂 Es ist aber echt einfach hier zu waschen - und so stressfrei. 🤣

Time goes by fast... 😅

Already another week over! 

I notice how we students grow closer together with every new day. We are 15 students in total this year. Whoever has counted now knows that three students are missing from the picture. 😂 It is the students who have added a second year. Since they sometimes have a different timetable than us, we are not always together. There is really a relaxed atmosphere among us. :D

This weekend we had a "Horselover retreat", a camp for horse lovers. There we worked in the kitchen and the stable to make sure that the guests had a nice stay. 😉

I think it's good that I can look into different work areas. So I can expand my knowledge in different areas. Also how to do laundry the "American way". 😜 Did you know that you don't separate the clothes, but simply throw everything into the washing machine, which by the way is opened at the top? And then pour the detergent onto the clothes? Me until recently also not yet 😂 It is however really simple to wash here - and so stress-free. 🤣
