Meine Anreise/ My arrival

Sorry, dass jetzt erst was kommt. Leider war es vorher nicht möglich. Es war hier so stürmisch, dass ein Baum auf die Stromleitung der Ranch gefallen ist. Das hatte zur Folge, dass überall das Licht ausgegangen ist und das WLAN ausblieb. Jetzt ist alles wieder gut und ich kann ein bisschen über meine Anreise erzählen. Da ich jetzt angekommen bin kann ich sagen, dass der Abschied in Frankfurt das Schwerste von allem war. ;D

In Frankfurt bin ich durch den Sicherheitscheck durchgegangen und konnte dann auch schon relativ schnell an Bord gehen. 10 Stunden lagen nun vor mir, in denen ich gut versorgt wurde und mich mit Filmen beschäftigen konnte. In Atlanta ging alles so schnell und es war so einfach. Durch die Passkontrolle durch und dann nur den Koffer auf das Band nach Buffalo abgeben. Danach nochmal durch die Sicherheitskontrolle durch und anschließend bin ich mit der unterirdischen Bahn zu meinem neuen Gate gefahren. Zwei Stunden waren es noch nach Buffalo. Kurz bevor wir gelandet sind konnte ich einen wirklich sehr schönen Sonnenuntergang genießen. Der komplette Himmel war rötlich am scheinen. Ich habe meine Koffer bekommen und sollte am Flughafen abgeholt werden. Aber da stand keiner und hat auf mich gewartet. Ich - total müde, hatte keine Kraft mehr auf weitere unvorhersehbare Aktionen. Plötzlich sprechen mich zwei Frauen an und fragen nach meinem Namen. Was meint ihr, wie glücklich ich war, die richtigen Menschen gefunden zu haben. 😂 Von Buffalo zur Ranch hatten wir noch 2 1/2 Stunden Autofahrt vor uns. Nach einem kurzen Stopp bei McDonald’s ging es weiter und ich sag euch Leute: Ihr habt noch nie so eine große Cola gesehen. 😂 Auf der Ranch bekam ich mein Zimmer und ich habe erst nachdem die beiden Frauen weg waren bemerkt, dass ich im Zimmer gar kein Bettzeug finden kann. Ich wusste nicht was ich machen sollte, also hab ich versucht eine der Frauen auf Facebook via Messenger zu erreichen. Doch ich bekam keine Antwort. Ich dachte mir: Bevor ich jetzt voll übermüdet auf der Ranch umherirre und jemanden suche, decke ich mich mit meinem Schal zu und schlaf auf meiner Jacke die restlichen paar Stunden. Zum Glück hat die Frau meine Nachricht doch noch gelesen gehabt und mir das, was mir fehlte gebracht. 😅

Sorry it's taken so long. Unfortunately it was not possible before. It was so stormy here that a tree fell on the ranch's power line. The result was that the lights went out everywhere and the WLAN was not available. Now everything is fine again and I can tell you a little bit about my journey. Now that I have arrived I can say that saying goodbye in Frankfurt was the hardest part of all ;D 

 In Frankfurt I went through the security check and was able to get on board relatively quickly. 10 hours lay ahead of me now, during which I was well looked after and could deal with films. In Atlanta everything went so fast and it was so easy. Through the passport control and then just drop off the suitcase on the conveyor belt to Buffalo. Then through the security check again and then I took the underground train to my new gate. It took me two hours to get to Buffalo. Just before we landed I could enjoy a really beautiful sunset. The whole sky was reddish in the shine. I got my suitcases and should be picked up at the airport. But there was nobody standing there waiting for me. I - totally tired, had no more strength for further unpredictable actions. Suddenly two women approached me and asked my name. How happy do you think I was to have found the right people. 😂 From Buffalo to the ranch we still had 2 1/2 hours of driving ahead of us. After a short stop at McDonald's we went on and I tell you guys: You have never seen such a big cola. 😂 At the ranch I got my room and it was only after the two women left that I noticed that I couldn't find any bedding in the room. I didn't know what to do, so I tried to reach one of the women on Facebook via Messenger. But I did not get an answer. I thought to myself: Before I now wander around the ranch, tired and looking for someone, I'll cover myself with my scarf and sleep on my jacket for the remaining hours. Fortunately the woman had read my message after all and brought me what I was missing. 😅
