Back to the ranch

Hey!

Frohes Neues erstmal! 🎆

Bin gestern wieder zurück zur Ranch geflogen. Unsere Pause ist nun wieder vorbei. So wie es aussieht wird es jetzt auch erstmal „normal“ weitergehen. Ich hab mich gefühlt als würde ich wieder zum Nordpol reisen. 😂 In Virginia war es so warm. Voll den Temperaturschock gehabt. 😅

Den letzten Tag bei meiner Gastfamilie in Virginia durfte ich deren amerikanisches und automatisches Auto fahren. Es war erstmal komisch keine Kupplung treten zu müssen. Ich bin schon lange nicht mehr gefahren und deswegen hab ich das Angebot auch direkt angenommen. 😉 Hatte ganz vergessen die Bremse „sanft“ zu bedienen. 😂 Nach der demonstrierten Gefahrenbremsung lief aber alles rund. 😎

Silvester wurde hier nicht wirklich gefeiert. Was soll ich sagen: Erstes Jahr ohne Feuerwerk. 😂 Trotzdem hatten wir eine gute Zeit zusammen und haben die Silvesterparty in New York City im Fernsehen gesehen. :D

Bei einem Walmart in der Nähe der Oma war ein Automat, wo man DVD‘s für wenig Geld ausleihen konnte. Also ich hab sowas nicht gekannt. Ihr? 😄

Nächste Woche ist wieder Bewertungstag. Der letzte war ja ausgefallen. 😅 Muss mich jetzt erstmal wieder einleben. War ja jetzt auch echt lange.

Happy New Year first of all! 🎆

Flew back to the ranch yesterday. Our break is now over again. It looks like it will continue "normal" for now. I felt like I was traveling to the North Pole again. 😂 In Virginia it was so warm. Full had the temperature shock. 😅

The last day with my host family in Virginia I was allowed to drive their American and automatic car. It was weird not having to use the clutch at first. I have not driven for a long time and therefore I accepted the offer directly 😉 Had completely forgotten to operate the brake "gently". 😂 After the demonstrated hazard braking but everything went smoothly. 😎 

New Year's Eve was not really celebrated here. What can I say: first year without fireworks. 😂 Nevertheless, we had a good time together and watched the New Year's Eve party in New York City on TV. :D

At a Walmart near grandma's house there was a vending machine where you could rent DVD's for not much money. So I didn't know anything like that. You? 😄

Next week is evaluation day again. After all, the last one was cancelled. 😅 Now I have to settle in again. It was really long now.
