Cusco and its surroundings

Inca, Inca, Inca ... the surroundings of Cusco are shaped by many Inca constructions. On most of them you can hike by climbing up many stairs. Some contain terraces, which were used to cultivate plants and canals to water the plants others were solely used in the rainy season. Others were temples of for example the moon or storages for food. The landscape with its Inca sites is very empressive. 

I loved the history of the places, the colours of the markets and the diversity of things to do and see here. 

Peru is an incredible place and has heaps to offer... one more week to go until Ecuador !!
