Summary Argentina

It's already a bit late, the third day of Uruguay but here comes the summary of Argentina, if such a thing is even possible.

I'd say have seen the biggest tourist attractions that are around here, I just left Ushuaia out, the most southern bit of the country.

It is just plain beautiful. The Andes, the frequent readers have read that before, I love them. They come in all different forms and colors, desert like where nothing else but cactus grows and the sun burns everything else, huge salt flats, lakes, arid areas with plants that don't grow taller then the waist, no tree to be seen. Beautiful, healthy forest, rotten fantasy style forests, incredible glaciers with rocky spikes, endless waterfalls, you name it. 

The people are incredible friendly and open minded, I often got to talk with complete strangers who were genuinely interested in me as a person, my life and travel style. Good food, as long as you eat carbs and meat. Getting around with public transportation is super easy, it is a wonderful country to travel.

The only thing that might make it difficult is the language. I never tried it but without Spanish you will struggle outside of the touristic hotspots.

My highlights were definitely the Iguazú waterfalls, the glacier Perito Moreno and the town Bariloche. The waterfalls and the glacier are just incredible experiences in terms of nature, things I will not forget until I get Alzheimer's. And Bariloche is wonderful for it's abundance of lakes, hiking trails and mountains. In retrospective I should have stayed there a few days more.

Argentina really made me want to explore more of Latin America and I'm already pretty excited for Colombia!

I think I'll return later in my life again to the continent, with even more time, buy a car and explore the rest of it! Maybe even Venezuela if the political situation should be better by then.
