Tag 5: Queenstown

For today I didn't set up an alarm clock. Because of that I only get up at 10:30 and take a shower. For a short amount of time I'm not sure if it's raining or even snowing. Turns out it was only raining. Because my stomach is growling I am looking for breakfast. OK I mean what ends up to be my breakfast, most people wouldn't really call that a breakfast but does that it even matter? At the Patagonia Chocolates I get myself three churros and a hot chocolate. A successful breakfast. Because it's raining and the sun is shining at the same time you can have a glimpse at a rainbow. Cause the weather isn't that good today and I almost have seen everything of the town I decided to take a gondola up the Ben Lomond. The panorama is unbelievable it's only a bit cold and windy. After a short time at the view point, I leave and go back again. I share my gondola with an Australian, married couple. I tell them goodbye and get myself lunch. This time I go for Sushi. Because it's really cold, I return to my hostel and watch a couple of episodes on Netflix.

If u go to McDonalds and u get asked if u want a large or medium meal what do you normally do? Of course just ask the guy at the till how large large is. He‘d be pretty confused and says: I mean what fo you mean how large is large and show u the different cups. That turns out to be pretty funny though haha. Then he brings u the food and forgets the coke. Returns to get the coke turns around again to get a straw. Funny thing is, I already got the straw.

It’s really sad when the thing you were excited about the most gets cancelled. That’s what happend to me when I wanted to go stargazing in Queenstown. But I still went up the hill again cause the view is still stunning.
