Strecke: 28 Kilometer, kumuliert: 1‘055 Kilometer | Höhenmeter: 140, kumulierte Höhenmeter: 4’190 Meter, Entfernung von zuhause: 1’775 Kilometer (Luftlinie).

Die 30 Stunden auf der komfortablen Fähre gingen rasch vorbei! Dabei habe ich etwa dieselbe Strecke zurückgelegt wie bis Travemünde mit dem E-Bike, allerdings in längerer Zeit und weniger komfortabel. Dafür war es sportlicher, anstrengender und teurer! Pro Tag rechne ich durchschnittlich mit etwa 100 Franken, wobei die Übernachtungen die teuersten sind. Dazu kommen Lebensmittel und Getränke sowie übrige Spesen für Reparaturen am Velo oder an mir.

Trotz der weiten Fahrt kam das riesige Schiff pünktlich in Helsinki an. Doch wenn ich sage Helsinki, dann meine ich die Anlegestelle, die etwa 30 Kilometer außerhalb der Stadt liegt. Also habe ich mich aufs E-Bike gesetzt und bin mit kleinen Pausen zur Anlegestelle der Tallinfähren geradelt. Dabei habe ich auch einiges von Helsinki gesehen.

Um genügend Zeit zu haben, buchte ich die letzte Fähre, die noch heute Tallinn erreicht. Diese fährt um 16:30 Uhr und braucht für die Überfahrt genau 2 Stunden. Dann steige ich erneut aufs Velo und fahre direkt ins Hotel.

Bei der Wartezeit vor dem Terminal zur Fähre sprachen mich 2 junge, sympathische Schweizer an und wir führten ein kurzes Gespräch. Leider habe ich vergessen nach ihren Namen zu fragen, gab ihnen aber meinen Flyer. Vielleicht komme ich so doch noch zu ihren Namen. Doch ich durfte ein Foto machen, das du auch bei den Fotos finden kannst.

Von meiner Leistung her war heute kein anstrengender Tag, von den Eindrücken und der Konzentration her allerdings schon. Daher bin ich mir sicher, dass ich auch heute gut schlafen werde. 💤

¡Las 30 horas en el cómodo ferry pasaron rápidamente! Hice aproximadamente la misma distancia que hasta Travemünde con la bicicleta eléctrica, aunque tardé más tiempo y fue menos cómodo. ¡Fue más deportivo, más agotador y más caro! Por día, calculo un promedio de aproximadamente 100 francos, siendo el alojamiento lo más caro. A eso hay que añadir alimentos y bebidas, así como otros gastos para reparaciones en la bicicleta o en mí.

A pesar del largo viaje, el enorme barco llegó puntualmente a Helsinki. Pero cuando digo Helsinki, me refiero al puerto, que está a unos 30 kilómetros de la ciudad. Así que me subí a la bicicleta eléctrica y pedaleé con pequeñas pausas hasta el puerto de los ferris a Tallin. Durante el trayecto también vi algo de Helsinki.

Para tener suficiente tiempo, reservé el último ferry que aún llega a Tallin hoy. Sale a las 16:30 y tarda exactamente 2 horas en la travesía. Luego me vuelvo a subir a la bicicleta y me dirijo directamente al hotel.

The 30 hours on the comfortable ferry went by quickly! I covered approximately the same distance as to Travemünde with the eBike, but in a longer time and with less comfort. It was sportier, more exhausting, and more expensive! Per day, I estimate an average of about 100 francs, with accommodation being the most expensive part. Additionally, there are food and drink expenses, as well as other costs for repairs on the bike or myself.

Despite the long journey, the huge ship arrived punctually in Helsinki. However, when I say Helsinki, I mean the docking point, which is about 30 kilometers outside the city. So, I got on my eBike and cycled with a few short breaks to the Tallin ferry terminal. Along the way, I also saw some of Helsinki.

To have enough time, I booked the last ferry that still reaches Tallin today. It departs at 4:30 PM and takes exactly 2 hours for the crossing. Then, I’ll get back on my bike and head straight to the hotel.

While waiting in front of the ferry terminal, two friendly young Swiss people approached me, and we had a brief conversation. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask their names, but I gave them my flyer. From a performance perspective, today was not an exhausting day; however, in terms of impressions and concentration, it was. Therefore, I am sure that I will sleep well tonight. 💤
