The first real weekend. On Sunday there was nothing spechial, we just went to the playground with G. On Saturday we had a little birthday "party" for G. at Susan's (Molly's Mom) place. Just look at the picture it was amazing.
Das erste richtige Wochenende. Am Sonntag war nichts besonderes, wir waren mit G. auf einem Spielplatz. Am Samstag hatten wir eine kleine Geburtstags "Party" für G. bei Susan (Molly's Mutter). Guckt euch einfach das Bild an, es war wundervoll.
The second week was way better than the first week. It was a little harder, because my host mom Molly traveled to Florida on Sunday because she had to work there. So I was alone with Kevin. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday were sort of the same. Think G. was more happy about spending the days with me.
Die zweite Woche war viel besser als die erste. Es war ein bisschen schwerer, weil meine Gastmutter Molly auf Geschäftsreise in Florida war. Also war ich allein mit Kevin. Montag, Mittwoch und Donnerstag waren alle relativ gleich. Ich glaube G. war etwas glücklicher darüber, die Tage mit mir zu verbringen.
The evenings were a little funny because Kevin (my host dad) is usually not cooking, but we had dinner every day. We went to a good burger place on Thursday, because they want to show me as much burger places as possible, because I love them. The burger place was called Holy Cow and it was really good.
Die Abende waren etwas witzig, weil Kevin (mein Gastvater) normalerweise nicht kocht, aber wir hatten jeden Tag Abendessen. Am Donnerstag waren wir in einem guten Burger Laden, weil sie mir so viele Burger-Läden zeigen wollen, wie möglich, weil ich sie liebe. Der Burger Laden hieß Holy Cow und es war wirklich gut.
I was off on Wednesday, Friday and the weekend, exept Friday evening, because Molly and Kevin went out. I spend the Wednesday in the libary and got some books. And spend the Friday in "Pentagon City" in the shopping mall.
Ich musste am Mittwoch, Freitag und Wochenende nicht arbeiten, außer Freitagabend, weil Molly und Kevin ausgegangen sind. Ich hab den Mittwoch in der Bibliothek verbracht und ein paar Bücher mitgebracht und den Freitag in "Pentagon City" in einem Einkaufszentrum verbracht.
I met some other aupairs on Saturday. We went to a Burger Place called Shake Shack, the Burger was good, but not as good as in the Holy Cow. After that we ate some really expensive Ice Creme. And we also saw the white house, for me again, but we went to the back side of it.Ich hab mich am Samstag mit einigen anderen AuPairs getroffen, wir waren bei einem Burger Laden names Schake Shack, der Burger war gut, aber nicht so gut wie in "Holy Cow". Danach haben wir wirklich teures Eis gegessen und das Weiße Haus gesehen, für mich noch einmal aber wir waren auf der hinteren Seite davon. On Sunday there was the "AuPair and Family-Event" Molly was a little done, because of the work travel, so I went with Kevin and G. I met a girl I knew from the training school and we had a really god talk. Am Sonntag war das "AuPair und Familien-Event". Molly war noch etwas erschöpft wegen der Geschäftsreise, also bin ich mit Kevin und G. hingefahren. Ich hab ein Mädchen, was ich aus der Training-School kannte wieder getroffen und wir haben uns nett unterhalten. Next week. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday were normal "working" days. I spend the mornings at the playground, where I met Lisa and C. G. and C. are best friends, they are soo cute, playing together and it's easier for Lisa and me if they are just busy with each other. I spend the afternoons at home or went to the pool. On Thursday G. huged me for half an hour, which was soo cute.Nächste Woche. Montags, Dienstag und Donnerstag waren normale "Arbeits"-Tage. Ich hab die Vormittage mit Lisa und C. auf dem Spielplatz verbracht. G. und C. sind beste freunde, sie sind so süß, wenn sie zusammen spielen und es ist leichter für Lisa und mich, wenn sie einfach mit sich beschäftigt sind. Die Nachmittage habe ich zuhause oder am Pool verbracht. Donnerstag hat G. mich für eine halbe Stunde oder so umarmt, das war soo süß.On Wednesday I went to the libary, again and bought a diary for me after that. On Friday I met an other aupair at the air and space museum in Washington DC. After that we went in a park, where a Jazz band was playing.Am Mittwoch war ich in der Bibliothek, nochmal und habe mir danach ein Tagebuch gekauft. Am Freitag habe ich ein anderes AuPair im Luft- und Raumfahrt Museum getroffen. Danach sind wir noch in einen Park gegangen, wo eine Jazz-Band gespielt hat. On Saturday I met some aupairs in Washington DC, again. We went to the Lincoln and the World War II Memorial. Am Samstag habe ich wieder AuPairs in Washington DC getroffen. Wir waren beim Lincoln- und 2. Weltkrieg- Denkmal.On Saturday evening I met my friend Mandy and we watched somebody singing at the street in Chinatown and drank a cocktail after that.Samstagabend habe ich meine Freundin Mandy getroffen und wir haben jemandem, der auf der Straße in Chinatown gesungen hat zugeguckt und danach einen Cocktail getrunken.On Sunday I had my travel class "Niagara Fall's - the flow of Histroy". Is was boring as I expected, but ok I just do it because of traveling to the Niagara Falls. Am Sonntag hatte ich meine Reisekurs "Niagarafälle - der Fluss der Geschichte". Es war langweilig, wie ich erwartet hatte, aber ok ich mache das nur weil ich am Ende zu den Niagara Fällen reise.
