Wunderschönes Wetter – Plan ist klar: Strandtag 😊 Wiederholungstäter. Gut eingeschmiert gings ab zum Kaanapali Strand. Sonnenschirm braucht es, aber eine bessere Lösung muss her als jeden Tag 20$ zu bezahlen. So fragte ich den Beachboy mit wieviel meine Kreditkarte belastet werden würde, wenn ich den Sonnenschirm nicht mehr zurück bringen würde. 40$. Ja da mussten wir nicht lange überlegen auch weil Zoe ja noch einen weiteren Monat hier bleibt. Am ende des Kaanapali Strand hat es einen schwarzen Lavafelsen wo wagemutige Klippenspringer die um die Aufmerksamkeit der Zuschauer buhlen. Einige Sprünge sind wirklich spektakulär andere haben eher den Arschbombe-charakter. Unterhaltsam war es allemal. Den Abend liessen wir am hoteleigenen Swimmingpool ausklingen, mit vielen Amis die im Pool standen, die Kühlbox am Rand aufgestellt hatten und sich so die Kante gaben. Das Reinhüpfen in den Pool hatte ich Zoe ziemlich vermiest mit der Bemerkung, dass diese Herren schon auffallend lange im Wasser standen und mit all der Flüssigkeiten die sie in sich reinschütteten, mich fragte wo das wohl alles hinging, sie kamen auf jedenfalls nicht zum Pool raus...

Beautiful sunny day – the plan is clear: Beach day 😊 Repeat-offender. Covered in sun cream we proceeded to the Kaanapali beach. We did need a umbrella, but we needed a smarter solution than pay every day 20$. So I asked the beachboy, how much he would charge my credit card if I would not return the umbrella: 40$ - OK that was a no brainer, also in view that Zoe is going to stay another month. At the end of Kaanapali beach there is a Lava cliff where daring cliff jumper are competing for the attention of the viewer. Some jumps were spectacular, others just a bottom-bomb. It was rather entertaining. We ended the day at the hotel swimming pool with many other Americans, who stood in the pool and had their cool boxes piled up at the edge of the pool in an attempt to get drunken. I did spoil Zoe’s jump into the water with a comment that those gentlemen’s were quite a long time in the water, and with all the liquid they poured into themselves, I wondered where it would all go, as they did not climb out of the pool at all…
