San Francisco and back to Germany

On the 1st of September I arrived in San Francisco at around 7pm. My bus stop was not too far from my hostel in the quarter of Nob Hill. On my way there, I encountered a lot of drug addicts. It was very sad and quite shocking. But my hostel was very nice, a little noisy, but I had a private room. I took an amazing shower, the first one after the burn.

The next day I treated myself to a wellness day: Sauna, massage, facial, pedicure and manicure. Ahhh, felt like a new person. And so I went out that evening with some new energy. I walked through China Town and at the edge of it found a restaurant, where they played live jazz music. And after a small dinner there, I went next door to a bar, cause it looked so colourful. Had a drink and started chatting to a local. Lovely evening!

On the 3rd I did the full tourist program. A bus tour to all the major sights. I got off at the Golden Gate Bridge off course and at the harbour. In the evening I treated myself to a fancy dinner at a beautiful restaurant right at the water.

And then, on the 4th, it was time to leave. My flight back worked well and was actually very comfortable. I just somehow could not sleep and so I arrived back in Tübingen on the afternoon of the 5th, after 26 hours of travel and without any sleep, completely exhausted. Well, I did sleep veeeeery well that night 😉
