Zwischen Abschied und Lichterketten 😢🎄/ Between farewells and fairy lights 😢🎄

Hallo ihr! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Hier endlich das neue Update.

Was ist die letzten 6 Wochen so passiert? Wie ist es mit dem Bachelor-Chaos weitergegangen? Und was sind meine Pläne über Weihnachten? Das erfahrt ihr alles im heutigen Blog-Eintrag. 😊 

Fangen wir an. Mitte/ Ende November kam eine nicht so schöne Nachricht rein. Mein Opa ist verstorben. Das war natürlich erstmal ein Schock für mich. Aber da ich glaube, dass der Tod nicht das letzte ist und wir dann bei Gott weiterleben werden, sehe ich es eher so, dass mein Opa „heimgegangen“ ist. 🙏🏻

Des Weiteren sahen meine Tage sehr unspektakulär aus. Zwischen Arbeit und Uni-Leben halt. Für Medienwirtschaft musste ich verschiedene Module durcharbeiten. Damit bin ich auch zum Glück fertig geworden. Die Hausarbeit von 6-7 Seiten zum Thema „Warum Unternehmen verschwinden und Kunden die Produkte nicht wollen“ ist auch so gut wie fertig. Fehlt nur noch die Präsentation mit den wichtigsten Informationen aus der Hausarbeit. Mit meinem anderen Schwerpunkt Kurs, wo ich einen Podcast anfertigen sollte und dazu 6 Social Media Beiträge gestalten sollte, bin ich auch durch. Diese Arbeiten werden auch im Januar veröffentlicht werden. Wenn klar ist, wann und wo diese zu sehen sind, gebe ich hier gerne laut. 😃

Zum Ausgleich hatte ich dann mal einen Spiele-Abend mit Freunden oder den Besuch meiner Schwester. 

Jetzt kommen wir zum Bachelor-Chaos. Anfang Dezember hatte ich dann mein Erstgespräch bei dem Prof., von dem ich schon im letzten Blog-Eintrag gesprochen hatte. Das Gespräch lief wirklich sehr gut und ich fühle mich bei ihm sehr gut aufgehoben. Wir haben ausgemacht, dass ich mich jetzt erstmal auf meinen Kurs „Medienwirtschaft“ konzentriere, da ich Mitte Januar dann auch noch eine Klausur in dem Fach schreiben muss und ich mich danach erst an den Bachelor begebe. Ich habe schon eine genauer Vorstellung, wie mein Podcast aussehen werde und wie ich meine Hörer am Ende befragen möchte. 😉

Anfang Dezember habe ich außerdem festgestellt, dass ich in der Ferne schlechter gucken kann. Also war ich beim Optiker, der mir dies auch bestätigte. Ich machte einen Augenarzt-Termin aus, damit ich es auch nochmal von einem Arzt kontrollieren lassen kann, weil ein Sehverlust von 40-50 Prozent in 6 Jahren festgestellt wurde vom Optiker. Ich hatte also links wohl nur noch 50% und rechts nur noch 30%, wo ich vor 6 Jahren noch 100% und 70% hatte. Sehr erschreckend. 😦 

Beim Augenarzt angekommen hat eine Arzthelferin wieder einen Augentest gemacht. Der war auch nicht so gut. Beim Arzt selber haben wir ebenfalls nochmal einen Augentest gemacht. Einmal ohne und einmal mit Augentropfen. Mit Augentropfen hatte ich wohl 100% auf beiden Seiten. Ich konnte es fast nicht glauben. Nach intensiver Begutachtung meines Auges inklusive Netzhaut-Check, fand er nichts auffälliges. Gott sei Dank! Ursache sind wohl die Tabletten, die ich aktuell für ein besseres Hautbild einnehme. Diese entziehen mir Flüssigkeit im Körper, also auch die Tränenflüssigkeit. Jetzt habe ich Augentropfen verschrieben bekommen und hoffe, dass das dann wieder weg geht. 🙃

Seid ihr eigentlich schon in Weihnachtsstimmung? 🎄✨ Ich ein bisschen, könnte aber mehr sein. Ich habe schon ganz viele Geschenke eingepackt für meine Tante und ihre Familie und meine Familie. 🎁 In der WG hatten wir schon eine kleine Weihnachtsfeier. Da gab es dann ein kleines Lagerfeuer, ein paar Kekse, Glühwein und Spiele. 🙂 Auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt war ich am Freitag auch das erste Mal. Es ging nach Dinkelsbühl mit einer Kollegin von der Arbeit. Heute Abend essen wir Hirschgulasch bei ihr. 😋

Morgen kommt meine Schwester und dann feiern wir dieses Jahr Weihnachten bei meiner Tante, die an der tschechischen Grenze wohnt. Am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag werde ich zurück nach Ansbach fahren und am nächsten Morgen hole ich meine Eltern in Frankfurt am Flughafen ab. Sie kommen über Silvester zu Besuch. Weiter fahren wir dann zu meinem Bruder nach NRW. Da halten wir dann auch eine kleine Weihnachtsfeier ab. Wird bestimmt schön. Was wir dann alles zusammen unternehmen werden, das erzähle ich euch dann im nächsten Blog-Eintrag. Dann habe ich sicher auch ein paar mehr Fotos für euch. 📸

Hello, everyone! 🙋🏼‍♀️ Here is the new update at last.

What has happened in the last six weeks? How did the bachelor chaos continue? And what are my plans for Christmas? You can find out all this in today's blog entry. 😊

Let's begin. In mid/late November, I received some sad news. My grandfather passed away. Of course, this came as a shock to me at first. But since I believe that death is not the end and that we will live on with God, I see it more as my grandfather “going home.” 🙏🏻

Other than that, my days were pretty uneventful. Just work and university life. I had to work through various modules for media management. Fortunately, I managed to finish them. The 6-7 page term paper on “Why companies disappear and customers don't want their products” is also almost finished. All that's missing is the presentation with the most important information from the term paper. I've also finished my other major course, where I had to create a podcast and design 6 social media posts. This work will also be published in January. Once it's clear when and where it will be available, I'll be happy to announce it here. 😊

To balance things out, I had a game night with friends and a visit from my sister.

Now we come to the bachelor's degree chaos. At the beginning of December, I had my initial meeting with the professor I mentioned in my last blog entry. The meeting went really well, and I feel very comfortable with him. We agreed that I would focus on my “Media Economics” course for now, as I have an exam in that subject in mid-January, and then I will start working on my bachelor's degree. I already have a clear idea of what my podcast will look like and how I want to survey my listeners at the end.

At the beginning of December, I also noticed that my distance vision had deteriorated. So I went to the optician, who confirmed this. I made an appointment with an ophthalmologist so that I could have it checked by a doctor, because the optician had determined that my vision had deteriorated by 40-50 percent in 6 years. So I only had 50% vision in my left eye and 30% in my right eye, compared to 100% and 70% six years ago. Very frightening. 😦

When I arrived at the ophthalmologist's office, a medical assistant did another eye test. The results weren't very good. The doctor also did another eye test. Once without and once with eye drops. With the eye drops, I had 100% vision in both eyes. I could hardly believe it. After an intensive examination of my eyes, including a retinal check, he found nothing unusual. Thank God! The cause is probably the tablets I'm currently taking to improve my skin. They dehydrate my body, including my tear ducts. Now I've been prescribed eye drops and hope that this will go away. 🙃

Are you guys in the Christmas spirit yet? 🎄✨ I am a little, but could be more. I've already wrapped lots of presents for my aunt and her family and my family. 🎁 We had a little Christmas party in our shared apartment. We had a small bonfire, some cookies, mulled wine, and games. 🙂 I also went to the Christmas market for the first time on Friday. I went to Dinkelsbühl with a colleague from work. Tonight we're having venison goulash at her place. 😋

Tomorrow my sister is coming and then we're celebrating Christmas at my aunt's house, who lives on the Czech border. On Boxing Day, I'll drive back to Ansbach and the next morning I'll pick up my parents at the airport in Frankfurt. They're coming to visit over New Year's Eve. Then we'll drive on to my brother's place in North Rhine-Westphalia. We'll have a little Christmas party there too. It's sure to be nice. I'll tell you all about what we'll be doing together in my next blog entry. I'm sure I'll have a few more photos for you then. 📸
