Sometimes you need to recharge your batteries

Today was one of these days , you have a lot of energy for exploring and wandering around after one week of rain ( in a Rainforest still not that bad as anywhere else 😉).

By saying recharging I mean mental, jobsearch is still annoying me and I desperately needed a day just for me and myself and of course my destination has to be something with water and beach.

So I hopped in my car and went to Alligators Nest in Tully Gorge Nationalpark.

In summer it is a popular spot for the locals to cool down, but even in winter it is perfect. Clear water surrounded by rainforest . There's also a BBQ area to spend your day.

After that I went to Garners Beach around the corner,

I've never been there in my 2 weeks here and all I'm asking myself right now is why !
