The airport in Addis Ababa was crazily crowded when I took the plane in the morning. Check this out..
Anyway, I wanted to go to Buenos Aires... After 16 hours in the plane I really stopped to care about anything. I got so used to sit in my place and to just watch some movies that I seriously could continue for 10 hours more and I'd not really care.
I arrived in the late evening and Martin picked me up after I took some bus from the airport into the city's center.
Afterwards we had some Argentinian wine and went to see the obelisk.
This is the obelisk And this is Martin Finally arrived to BA!! Next day we went downtown, Martin showed me around a bit. This is a shopping mall with an incredible beautiful ceiling. This is how Argentinians prepare "asado", their special way of having barbeque. It's really delicious. And this is what we ate, a mixed plate with all kinds of typical meat 🤩 This tourist was super busy doing plenty pictures... Tourists are the worst, I hate them 🤣🤣 There are many other pictures in the foto section, check it out for more impressions of Buenos Aires. This shot is taken in the "reserva ecológica", which is basically a huge park. People here drink a lot mate. You see them all over in the city with these typical cups and the metal straw. There are even vending machines which serve hot water for free for mate! And in the night there was a Couchsurfing meeting where I participated. Super fun people, I made new friends there! Maybe I'll travel with a guy from there through Uruguay. Also got plenty of good advice on where to travel to and how to get there. It's not really warm here, a long jeans and a sweater is definitely nessecary. As you might remember if you read this blog on regular basis, I only carry one sweater and one jeans which definitely is not enough. Tomorrow I'll go shopping a bit to be ready for the climate here. Also going to buy a jacket since it's going to be more cold in the south (but there are penguins! Maybe I'll get to see them 🤩🤩) Ok, that's it for now, I'm still suffering a bit from jetlag, had six hours of time shift yesterday 🙄 Buenas noches y hasta luego, I'm super happy to finally speak some Spanish again, Laurin
