Day 84-85 Back to Kununurra

After two days of walking in The Bungle Bungles, it is time to return to Kununurra and get ready for the next section of the trip: the Gibb

Well, at first we went for another attempt to see the red glowing Echidna Chasm. Although we were this time definitely there in time before the sun was over the gap, there was no red glow visible. 

So we hit the road back to Kununurra in the hope no other tyre decides to give up, as we have no spare tyre left... The way back still included some creek crossings with quite a bit of water but thankfully no further car troubles...

We made it to Kununurra in the late afternoon, restocking on water & food before fighting for a pizza at the Ord River Roadhouse and setting up our tent at a campground for the night. The next day it is time to do the laundry after all this sweaty walks, look up tyre places and catch up on some work...
