Meran - a city with variety

One day me and a good friend were travvelling to Meran, a city in the South- Tirol. We didnt't expect a very italian city, what was good. Meran is a city that could also be in Austria or Switzerland, what makes sense because it is near to these two Countries.

We were travelling by train and it was possible to visit the city in one day. We went very early and came back late but it was worth it! It's quite cheap to travel by train in South- Tirol, so we bought a day card in the whole area for 15 euros.

It was very beautiful and you can buy many souvenirs or traditional food and drinks there.

The funniest thing on the way to italy was the fact that in Switzerland it was very snowy and in Italy not even a little bit!

I'll never forget this journey and if you have the possibility to go there, do it :)

These five points are important:

-Keep your ID or passport with you

-if you want to buy something there, change you francs to euros

-If you don't have a handy abo with free roaming, turn off the mobile data already in Mals, that's the last city you have swisscom network.

-Ever have a look on your wallet (that's ever important but if you loose it perhaps can't go back to Switzerland.

-prepare yourself to not speak german there because there many people speak italian or a german that's difficult to understand.
