Valencia, hier beginnt meine lange Tour

Strecke 10.4 Kilometer, kum. 40.7.   Höhenmeter 10, kum. 90

Nach einer langen und für mich mühsamen Busfahrt bin ich mit 90 Minuten Verspätung am Flugplatz in Valencia angekommen. Leider habe ich zu spät gemerkt, dass mir die Chauffeure beim Ausladen des Fahrrads den Rückspiegel abgerissen haben. Ohne Rückspiegel zu fahren ist für mich sehr ungewohnt. Ich muss raschmöglichst einen anderen besorgen. 

Danach habe ich einen Taxifahrer nach dem Weg fragen müssen, da alle Strassen, die ich gefunden habe, nur Autobahnen waren. Doch er war sehr freundlich und bald war es klar. Momentan ist ein Fest im Gang, wo an vielen Plätzen gefeiert wird und grosse Figuren aufgestellt sind. Diese werden zum Ende des Festes dann verbrannt. 

Die Unterkunft zu finden war zwar einfach, doch niemand ist da und öffnet. Bereits warte ich eine Stunde und sie reagiert weder auf Anrufe noch auf Nachrichten. Damit hat mein Abenteuer etwas schwierig begonnen. 

Inzwischen, nach über einer Stunde warten, ist sie doch noch gekommen und ich habe auch einen Platz für mein eBike. Allerdings an einem Platz, wo alle Hausbewohner Zugriff haben.

Después de un largo y arduo viaje en autobús, llegué al aeropuerto de Valencia con 90 minutos de retraso. Desafortunadamente, me di cuenta demasiado tarde de que los chóferes me habían arrancado el espejo retrovisor al descargar la bicicleta. Conducir sin espejo retrovisor es muy inusual para mí. Tengo que conseguir otro lo antes posible.

Después tuve que pedirle indicaciones a un taxista porque todas las calles que encontré eran solo autopistas. Pero fue muy amigable y pronto quedó claro. Actualmente se está llevando a cabo un festival donde se hacen celebraciones en muchos lugares y se montan grandes figuras. Luego se queman al final del festival.

Encontrar el alojamiento fue fácil, pero no hay nadie para abrir la puerta. Llevo una hora esperando y no responde llamadas ni mensajes. Mi aventura tuvo un comienzo algo difícil.

Mientras tanto, después de esperar más de una hora, ella vino y yo también tengo un lugar para mi eBike. Sin embargo, en un lugar al que todos los residentes tengan acceso.

Finding the accommodation was easy, but no one is there to open the door. I have already been waiting for an hour and they are not responding to calls or messages. So my adventure got off to a somewhat difficult start.

In the meantime, after more than an hour of waiting, she finally arrived and I also have a place for my eBike. However, it is in a place where all the residents of the house have access.
