Hello Shanghai!

I made it to another crazy city in China. It took me 11 hours with the train, but it was totally worth it.  

Shanghai as one of the largest cities of China can be quite a challenge for tourists like me. Also since you don't have access to Google Maps & co. it sometimes gets difficult to navigate. But it was interesting for me to see how dependant I was on Google & Google Maps. It's really hard for me to imagine how people travelled a few years ago without internet at all. 
So I needed an alternative to the Internet, so I got myself an oldschool tourist guide. I've never thought I would ever buy one of these, but now I am really happy that they are still produced.

As you can see above, the skyline ist breathtaking. But also the old parts of Shanghai are very interesting, which I will share that with you later on.
