Island Thassos (09-10-2020)

We still have good weather, which means: we have to travel and see as much as possible ! For this weekend we have chosen the beautiful island in northern Greece. Very spontaneous we booked a hotel for the next two nights in Thassos and rented a minivan, as we were 9 people. We drove by car to Kawala and took the ferry from there to the island. The whole drive took us about 5 hours. Arrived on the island, we checked in at the hotel and immediately searched for a place where we could have dinner. On the ferry we met by chance other erasmus students who planned to camp on the beach and invited us to a bonfire. So after a delicious (and very expensive) dinner we walked in the night to their location for about an hour and spent an unforgettable night with them. We enjoyed the sound of the sea, the sky full of stars and the entire atmosphere.
