Sapa, Vietnam

After a few overnight stays in Hanoi, we are now in Sapa in northern Vietnam, quite close to the Chinese border. The area is a national park and unbelievably beautiful.

We took a bus for about 6 hours to get here - but not in a regular bus…. we were booked on a sleeper bus 😊 It would have been comfortable if we were planning to sleep - but it was a fun experience.

After we had settled in, we were served lunch at our hotel. A guide picked us up when we were going to visit a village by the CatCat waterfall. A really beautiful hike - stunningly beautiful.

Back to the hotel for relaxation and dinner. Afterwards, we went looking for some extra clothes for the next day's trip - which turned out to be unnecessary.

We also hunted for a place where we could get a nightcap without success, so we settled for a small shop where we bought a rather dusty bottle of malt whiskey and a couple of sodas.

Goodnight - early up in the morning

Det var ikke en sovebus men en speciel bus for pensionister som skal have benene op 🤣🤣 Området lyder fantastisk spændende på trods af manglende barer 🍹🍹
