We dropped Lawa off at school and were then craving a good breakfast. We took a car to Livingroom, where we had previously bought Lawa's birthday cake.
The breakfast was delightful, and it was incredibly hard to choose what to eat.
We then took a walk home, with a quick stop at the pharmacy to bandage my feet.
We thought we were much further south and would thus pass by our old homes, but it turned out to be crazy.
We managed almost the entire journey without rain, but 100 meters from home the heavens opened up. And when it rains in Thailand, it really rains. Apparently, we are somewhere in the tail of the typhoon that has swept over the Philippines and Vietnam. And the monsoon rains started late, so we probably need to hold out for maybe another week. But it’s pleasantly cozy, and this is what we wanted; otherwise, we would have traveled later.
Today there was a bit of parent chit-chat at pickup, and we are starting to 'get to know' each other as parents too.
Right after school, a car picked up the kids for football practice, and we followed in our own car to watch.
It was good training, but the younger ones are of course struggling a bit with their English.
We also got a glimpse of Lanta Loft where we had stayed before, but wow, how it had grown back and there were many new houses.
We took a car home with another couple who, of course, turned out to be from Ulricehamn. The world is so small 😀
Sonja's parents, one of the girls Lawa met on Halloween, reached out to see if we wanted to join them for a little quiz at Lanta Lilly, and of course, we said yes.
We were completely useless, but it was enjoyable and the girls had fun.
It was an early evening since we all had some backlog on sleep.
