Tag 23: Okiato - Auckland

Das heutige Frühstück ist wieder einmal richtig lecker. Ich packe meine Sachen und verabschiede mich von Gary. Paula ist so lieb und fährt mich zur Fähre hinunter. Sehr lieb! Für mich geht’s mit der Fähre hinüber nach Opua. Von dort aus muss ich noch circa einen Kilometer den Hügel hinauf laufen. Jedoch habe ich dafür eine Stunde Zeit bevor mein Bus fährt. Der Bus hat jetzt schon 10 Minuten Verspätung. Bis wird Auckland erreichen werden daraus 30 Minuten. Hier soll ich mich mit Andrew treffe der mich ins Hotel bringt, allerdings gebe ich zuerst eine falsche Adresse in mein Navi ein. Es dauert eine Weile bis er mich gefunden hat. Die Hotelanlage ist riesig. Es hat sogar einen Pool, Spa, Tennisplatz und vieles mehr. Morgen ist schon mein letzter Tag hier in Neuseeland. Am Mittwoch Morgen um 0:55 Uhr steige ich in ein Flugzeug und fliege nach Singapur. Dort werde ich noch zwei Tage verbringen bis ich wieder zurück nach Zürich fliege. Morgen geht’s noch nach Waiheke Island. Dort werde ich Zipline fahren und eine kleine Wanderung bestreiten.

Als ich mein Zimmer genauer betrachte, fällt mir auf dass etwas komisch ist in diesem Raum. Im Schrank hat es einen Anzug, es hat mehrere Gesellschaftsspiele,  im Badezimmer hat es ein Eau de Toilet und einen Männerdeo und in einer Ecke hat es Golf- und Tennissachen. Ich erkunde das Zimmer weiter und entdecke mehrere Bücher. In einem der Bücher hat es einen Zettel welchen ich als Flugticket vermute.  Ich schaue nach und mein Verdacht bestätigt sich. Mithilfe dieses Flugtickets ist das Rätsel schnell gelöst. Es scheint so als ob Andrew normalerweise in diesem Zimmer lebt und es einfach von Zeit zu Zeit vermietet.

Today’s breakfast is once again really delicious. I pack my stuff and say goodbye to Gary. Paula is so nice that she drives me down to the ferry. So nice! With the ferry I’m heading to Opua. From there I have to walk up a hill for approximately 1 km. But for that task I have one hour of time. The bus already has a delay of 10 minutes. That delay would expand to 30 minutes as we reach Auckland. There I should meet up with Andrew who will show me the hotel, but the problem is that I first put in a wrong address in my GPS. It takes some time until he finds me. The hotel area is huge. It even has a pool, a spa, a tennis court and much more stuff. Tomorrow is already my last day here in New Zealand. On Wednesday morning at 12:55 AM I am boarding a plane to Singapore. There I will spend two days before I’m going back to Zurich. Tomorrow I’m going to the Waiheke island. There I will zipline and go on a little hike. 

As I’m taking a deeper look at my room, I figure out that there something off with it. In the  closet there is this suit,  there are multiple board games,  in the bathroom there is an eau de toilet and a male deodorant And in one corner of the room there are golf and tennis supplies.  And in one corner of the room there are golf and tennis equipment. I continue exploring the room and find multiple books. In one e of the books there is this paper that I think could be an airplane ticket. I have a look and my suspicions we’re right.
