Tag 13: Taupo - Rotorua

Die heutige Busfahrt wird nicht all zu lang. Rotorua ist nur eine Stunde von Taupo entfernt. In Rotorua angekommen werde ich fast von gierigen Möwen angegriffen die meine Brötchen und mein Tzatziki wollen. Doch schnell ist etwas anderes interessanter und sie lassen mich wieder in Ruhe. Da es noch zu früh ist um in mein Hotel einzuchecken, verweile ich am See. Dabei handelt es sich um den Lake Rotorua. Nachdem ich eingecheckt habe, verspüre ich ein Gefühl von Hunger. Ich mache mich auf Essenssuche und stosse dabei auf einen Pak’n Save, einen riesigen Supermarkt. Darin ist schnell alles gefunden und ich kehre ins Hotel zurück welches ich abends nochmals verlasse um den Sonnenuntergang zu fotografieren.

Today’s bus trip isn’t going to last for that long. Rotorua Is only one hour away from Taupo. As I reach Rotorua i’m almost being attacked by some greedy gulls. Who want to steal my buns and Tzatziki. But they are soon interested in something different and they don’t care about me anymore. Because it’s too early to check in to the hotel I’m staying at the lake for a while. That lake is the lake Rotorua. After I checked in I am feeling a bit hungry. As I am looking for food I bump into a Pak’n Save, a huge supermarket. All the ingredients are found fast and I return to my hotel which I’m leaving in the evening again to take some photos of the sunset.
