Greece and France introduce mandatory vaccination for health workers

Athens imposes wide-ranging Corona vaccination requirement.

The Greek government today announced a far-reaching mandatory vaccination and new requirements for the leisure sector. In the coming weeks, for example, all employees in the care and health sectors will have to undergo mandatory vaccination - otherwise they will be released from their work without pay.

Tourists will also be affected, as in future only vaccinated persons will be allowed to sit in enclosed areas of cinemas, theaters and restaurants. In addition, dancing will be banned throughout the country until at least the end of August. In outdoor areas, however, all guests may continue to be received, albeit at reduced capacity.
