Our trip to Quokka-Island did start at the Perth Harbour, where we went by ferry to Fremantle and from there directly above the ocean to Rottnest Island with a speed boat. We then went by bike on the island and visited several bays and beaches and saw some of the famous Quokkas as well. They were so gentle and trustful, you could even pet them. After 3 hours and riding more than 20 km above hills and valleys, we just were so exhausted and ended up sitting at the beach and eating some food. The outward tour was totally fine but when drove back, I almost threw up and got seasick because of the stormy weather and the strong waves.
