It was sunny today, calm winds, no sign of rain... But the whale watching was still cancelled.
I think they just don't like us.
Which was sad because today was Suus last day before leaving Iceland.
So after searching around for a bit I found a sort of adventure park with many different activities and also minigolf.
It was quite far away so we decided to take the bus. The busses are a lot more reliable here than in Ireland but you can only pay in cash or book the tickets over the bus app.
Which is quite a horrible app. So we struggled a while to book a ticket. And once we got on the bus the ticket wouldn't show up it just said error.
Thankfully the bus driver still let us on.
We arrived at the adventure park that had just opened 3 days ago. And we were a bit unsure if it was open at all because there was nobody there.
The whole place was empty, even the reception. But all the doors were open.
We walked around the reception for a bit and suddenly an alarm went off. We stood there a bit shocked until one of the staff came from somewhere to turn it off and he seemed very surprised to see us.
We asked if we could play some minigolf and he asked if we wanted to play right now. Which yes we wanted to, quite obviously.
He said that he can't do it right now and one of his colleagues would help us.
So we waited a bit longer until another guy came along that could actually give us some balls and clubs to play.
The course was very nicely decorated and it was actually the first time that Suus ever played minigolf in here life, so it was a nice starting place.
We played one round and then went around to explore the place. There were a lot of other things to do like lasertag, paintball, parcour, discogolf, footballgolf, axe throwing, a destruction room were you can just break stuff and a bar.
Over the day some more people came along aswell but never really stayed for that long.
After explored we played another round of minigolf and then started heading back. We wanted to have a final dinner together but it was still a bit early so we decided to meet up later.
In the meantime me and felix packed our bags for tomorrow and also went to play another round of Basketball with the SEEDS volunteers.
After a quick shower we had our goodbye dinner with Suus and headed back home to join another movie night.
This time we watched Mamma Mia 2.
A weird movie. But funny.
We did a whole lot today and I am quite ready for bed. I think the last time that I felt really tired in the evening was back in sweden.
Tomorrow we move to our new house and start our second camp. This time our group will have 12 people in it so it's going to be quite different.
I hope it will be as fun as the last one.
