We got up at about the sime time as always today and got ready to head to town.
The taxi arrived on time and drove us to odtshoorn there we walked around for a while going through artifacts shoos, art shops and busy malls.
I wanted to buy some new board games aswell so we asked at the tourist information where to buy board games and she just looked at me weirdly. After thinking for a bit she then told us to go to the "crazy" store, not sure if she was trying to insult me.
We asked around where that store was and walked all the way back where the taxi driver let us out but we didnt find it. So we asked again and they told us that the store used to be here but now moved to where we just came from. So we walked all the way back again, the tourist lady was probably watching us from her window, but we did find it.
We bought a set of board games and also the game "sink ships". There was a cheaper and a more expensive one so I took the cheaper.
We wont to a small little place in a side alley were we had some food. I had ribs again but they werent as good as the ones in cape town, these tasted more like the ones my mother makes.
We had some dessert aswell and then called the taxi to bring us back. Our bags filled with groceries we walked to our tents and put everything in the fridge. Then me and leah took some time to unpack the board games we bought.
Which was a terrible experience. The packing was very confusing and complicated. I had to get every single pin from battleship off from the plastic case and of course dropped them on the stone ground. So we had to dig stones away to find them again.
Leah had trouble numbering the right boards to the right games and one of my battle ships broke just a minute after unpacking it.
So it was more or less successful.
We took a little break were at the end leah came out of her tent and asked us to help her get rid of a big spider in her tent. So me and Larissa grabbed some tools and slowly guided the spider out of the room.
For dinner we all made pancakes, though our tools were limited we managed quite well. We had fun singing and cooking and had a nice sweet dinner.
After that I took a turtoise shell that I found and cooked it to get all bacteries and everything out.
While that a large flying bug flew on the my shoulder and started screeching, still on edge because of the giant spider I scream aswell and tried to get rid of the bug. It held on pretty good but eventually it fell off. Leah just laughed at me...
The water started to overcook at the same time Though we will probably never use that cooking pot again the shell is now more or less clean.
We played some new board games and talked for a while, me and leah for a bit too long since its almost midnight. Tomorrow we get up early and go to the "cango caves" with the same taxi.
