Peacefull grasseaters

We ate breakfast and walked to the camp to start our day. First we drove out into the big enclosure parked our car and drove the rest with a different Ranger.

Then, with Marine, we made our way to one side of the fence. Then we walked along the fence fixing holes, cutting plants and singing songs all the way back to were our car was parked.

This took the most part of the morning so we got driven back for lunch were Marine joined us.

Back for the afternoon we first cleaned the elephant enclosure were for a very weird reason my broom just broke. I dont know how that happend, I wasnt doing anything special with it it just broke.....

After that we then prepared food for the elephants again.

We loaded hay on the car to feed the buffels, rhinos and antilopes. While taking the hayballs apart with pitchforks not they hay but my pitchfork started to bent so now I had a bented pitchfork which of course wasnt my fault either.

We also had some meat with us to feed the lions. The lions were to used to humans to be released again so they will stay in captivity. First we went to the lions and then to the buffels, on the way I managed to step on my pitchfork hard enough to bent it more or less straight again.

We came to the feeding area for the herbivores, there were a bunch of buffels and 1 rhino there. We arrived quite fast and the buffels got scared but the rhino stayed and got a bit of an attitude. We started to load off the hay but halfway through the rhino started to approach our car so we had to drive away a bit. But then the rhino started to charge so Marine made the wheels schreech and we flashed away.

The rhino didnt give up and kept running after the car, luckily we were faster and after some time the rhino stopped. We wanted to drive back but the rhino stayed were it was and starred at us. So we just loaded of the hay right there and drove off.

We got some more hay but before that we had to remove a female N'yala out of the hay stock. Then we went to a second feeding area, here we had no aggressive rhinos.

The day came to an end and we went back to eat and shower.

We playes some cards and went to bed for the day.
