Guess what, I was in the playroom again today. Repairing and building monsters with the kids while svea took care of the homework.
I was also helping with collecting the kids today. The kids club does a whole lot of services and one of them is picking the kids up from school and bringing them right to the club.
We had a little bus for that and picked up about 10 children. Geraldine(the boss of the kids club) also told me that they started with just 10kids in the beginning and now have about 150.
There were a lot of kids joining the playroom again and a almost all of them wanted me to help them build something. Which was then quickly changed or destroyed within seconds.
One girl turned the turtle and spider that I made into a giant flying dinosaur, or atleast that's what she told me. It looked more like a turtle on top of a spider.
All our lego creations are safely inside the staff room to make sure none of the other kids can destroy them.
So tomorrow we will built and destroy even more creatures.
After our shift we ate some dinner and stayed inside to play some card games. We started with some simple ones but we kept trying different games until we decided to play poker.
But we didn't have any chips so we just used the money from the monopoly board game. Which actually worked quite well and we kept playing until midnight.
I do kind of like it to just get up late in the morning. Even though at home I always like to work the earlx shift. But not having to work in the morning is also nice.
