19.03.2023 husky project

Today was a bit of a long day. 

I had inside with one of the fix workers, johannes, but he of course had other things to do aswell besides cooking, washing and cleaning. 

So I was mostly on my own. However the other volunteers that had off, helped me a lot with baking bread, cake and even cleaning up. It was a great help.

It was also the first time since I've been here that I was actually alone in the house for a while. Usually there is always someone that has the same shift or is taking a break and just hanging around. But today I was actually alone for like 20mins.

It felt almost a bit weird. But also made me really excited for my next stop in england when it will just be a bit more calm, with some friends, boardgames and a lot less inside work.

I was able to go outside for a bit because Konstantin asked me to help the guests with getting the sleds started. It went without crashes and the tour was on it's way.

On my way back I saw Matthias was busy with some of the volunteers digging out a little fireplace.

None of us knew that it even existed but piece by piece it was uncovered.

I managed to join after finishing up all the dishes and it was a very nice little gathering. Even the guests were there.

It was a good ending to a long day.
