Karishmas Austausch

My exchange is called Lara. She is in Grade 11 and does gymnastics. She doesn’t like physics- like me- but she likes biology. She takes Maths and Art as two of her A-level subjects. She’s very kind.

Lara lives with her mum and her dad. She also has an older sister called Anna but she’s studying in Berlin so I won’t be seeing her. Lara and her mum came to get me from the station because her dad was in Slovakia for work, but he returned this morning.

For breakfast, we’ve been eating bread, cheese and fruit. The bread is much harder so it’s not as nice as in England but the cheese here is a lot nicer!

She cycles or walks to school. However, she usually takes the bicycle because she does art in another school so she has to travel there.

She likes Harry Potter. She’s read them all in German and is reading them now in English. She is also vegan so there’s a lot that she can’t eat.
