Arrival at the black seaOn 07. 05. 19 we started after several wine and schnapps tastings in Vienna. The following three days we mainly went for the kilometer, so just got on the highway and crossed Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria without seeing any great of these countries. The first exciting situation we had then on the Turkish border. We successfully smuggled about 500 cans of beer, about 100 liters of wine, 7 liters of schnapps and 15 0 liters of diesel to Turkey. Some nerves but it cost us!But we would have better taken care of the foreign car insurance before we had to pay 160 euros
each.No matter-before us was the Bosburus-Überqueerung which then really represented the first uplifting feeling of the beginning journey. Asia.Incredible is this megacity with all its suburbs and after the mega-storm we were glad to leave this area, which was about 80km long, behind us.From 10. 05 we were then on the Black Sea near Samsun. After the deadly Istanbul we were very happy about the typical Turkish impressions. The old cars, the sheep and goat herds and the delicious food could make us mild after these strenuous days, and trigger first holiday feelings. The Turks are simply super friendly people, even the police who knocked us out in the evening only wanted to see the passports. Remarkably beautiful, clean and imaginatively designed are the beach promenades on the Black Sea. The helpful people go out of their way even without language understanding to help us further if necessary, and are happy to be interested in our travel planning.Today we drive along the coast to the Georgian border. There, sunny sunny weather awaits us and we will plan our route in peace. From now on, we also want to slow down and come to rest more!Bye for nowBernd, Walter and LenaAchso: We do not have the goal here to write a professional section.
