Nan Lian Garden

Veröffentlicht: 29.07.2016

Looking for some green inbetween skyscrapers and highways?

Then the Nan Lian Garden is the place to go.

Located in the east of Hong Kong you can find a idyllic garden, with a monastery attached.
The entry to the park is free but I would not recommend ordering tee in the tea house there. One pot of tea costs between 380-800 HKD, so about 44€-99€ for one pot of tea. I wonder how it tastes, (probably like ordinary tea) but for this price you could get 43 Big Macs in Hong Kong (Hong Kong sells the cheapest Big Mac in the world). I'd rather go for the Big Macs.

Nevertheless a beautiful garden, and although created for tourists it has quite an original chinese flaire. Also it seems to be quite unknown, actually I was almost alone in the garden, which made it even more peaceful and quiet.
