Waking up in Ella, surrounded by misty mountains and the scent of tea, felt like a dream. My first day was all about iconic views and the magic of the Sri Lankan railway.

• Morning: Little Adam's Peak Hike & Sunrise Spectacle I started my day early with a trek to Little Adam's Peak . This hike is relatively easy, making it perfect for a sunrise ascent. The views from the top were absolutely phenomenal – rolling tea plantations, lush valleys, and the iconic Ella Gap stretching out in front of me. It's a must-do for panoramic vistas.
