The last week of our vacation has begun, but we certainly didn't sit still last week. In fact, we traveled faster than Max Verstappen racing through the 750-turn circuit from Chiang Mai to Pai in a minivan 🚐 (not all passengers enjoyed it that much😅) fortunately, we arrived safely in Pai! It took some time to adjust to the calmness here; there was a nice and very relaxed atmosphere in Pai. Charming little cafes and shops, but not too many, and again, friendly people everywhere.
We stayed in Pai for 2 nights and rented scooters so we could move around easily. Due to all the traveling, the kids were particularly tired. Therefore, we limited ourselves to a few activities that required little travel time. Kayla and Tim went zip-lining, and Kes and I enjoyed a genuine Thai body massage. 🫶🏻 We savored all the delicious food again, because wow, it’s incredibly good here! After 3 days, we packed our backpacks again and headed back to Chiang Mai, navigating those same 750 turns (luckily, we had a different driver this time 🫣). Upon arriving in Chiang Mai, we found a lovely hotel with a swimming pool where we will stay for 1 night due to our flight to Suratthani. We also decided here to adjust our trip slightly, as the kids have been quite worn out from all the traveling. Therefore, we decided to skip Koh Sok and travel directly from Suratthani to Ko Tao and then continue on to Koh Phangan to relax wonderfully on the islands 😎 to be continued!
Greetings from Thailand 👋🏻🫶🏻😘
