Der halbe Spaß...

... is the dream of the journey itself, the planning and the thoughts leading up to it. This time, half the pleasure has not occurred yet, or it happens very close to the actual departure. We bought our interrail tickets in December, and a couple of days ago, I booked my first trip in two weeks from Sundsvall to Hamburg. Since I'm so late, there are no sleeper tickets left, but one can lie down in the grave, so I'll have to sit.

Anna, my travel companion, has already gone on her first leg with another friend, and I can only hope that she'll have energy and joy left for our joint trip.

I think my travel blog should describe facts about the external journey as well as reflect the internal one. I hope it will be worth reading.
