New York City

Thursday, 27 July 2017, 2 pm, the buses were leaving the training school for the New York City tour. The bus ride took us 1.5 hours. They first stoped at the Battery Park in Manhatten, so we could see the Statue of Liberty

Donnerstag, 27 Juli 2017, 14 Uhr, die Busse verlassen die Training Schule um nach New York City rein zu fahren. Die Fahrt dauerte 1,5 Stunden und wir haben zuerst am Battery Park in Manhatten angehalten, um die Freiheitsstatue zu sehen.

After that we were doing a bus tour in New York City. It was not as cool as I expected, because we did this tour in the coach and not in one of those sightseeing buses. So we had to take photos out of the windows. 

Danach haben wir eine Bus Tour durch New York City gemacht. Ich hatte es mir cooler vorgestellt, aber leider haben wir das in einem Reisebus, statt in einem von diesen sightseeing Bussen gemacht, so dass wir nur durch die Fenster des Busses Fotos machen konnten.

We stopped at central Station, to get in there. It was amazing, so many people in there. 

Wir sind am Hauptbahnhof angehalten um rein zu gehen. Das wahr der Wahnsinn, so viele Menschen. 

I was kind of happy as we ended the tour at top of the rock. We startet getting up there and had to pass a security check. The elevator was amazing. Describing how it felt being up there is just not possible. You might get an idea from the pictures. 

Ich war relativ froh, als wir die Tour an "top of the rock" beendet haben. Beim Heraufgehen mussten wir durch einen Sicherheitskontrolle bevor wir mit dem Fahrstuhl hoch fahren durften. Zu beschreiben wie es sich anfühlte dort oben zu stehen ist nicht wirklich möglich. Ihr bekommt vielleicht eine Idee davon, wenn ihr die Bilder seht. 

After that we were free to do whatever we wanted to do. We decided to go to the times square. Same with that you have to get there and live it. 

Danach konnten wir tun was immer wir wollten. Wir haben uns entschieden zum Times Square zu gehen. Damit ist es das gleiche wie mit "top of the rock" man muss es einfach leben bzw. erleben.
