Blog 18: Singapore

Welcome to my last blog post. I arrived in Singapore which is my last destination before I go back to Germany. This is my first time in Asia and probably some kind of self-experiment to prove that travelling in Asia is fun as well. So far it's not going too well... I can't cope with the climate. It's never less than 28 degrees celcius and very humid. In the malls and hostels have air conditioners that make it more bearable but after my first night under a ceiling fan I woke up with a sore throat. My hostel is in Chinatown and there are far too many people in the streets for my share. 

Rightfully I have to admit that the people are very friendly. Besides the food is interesting, cheap and mostly tasty although as vegetarian I'm not going to try frog legs, pig ears and all these culinary delicacies. But I gave the durian a second try and I think one can get used to it ;)
